I am dreadfully confused as well. I chose 4 of the first column, but it still lets me select the last two. It also still says "3 tier 2's left" but makes no indication of what "tier 2" is. I feel like it's going to let me select anything I want and then stop me short of any useful abilities down the road.
Is there an explanation of this new maze?

Oh my God.
So I've just wasted a whole week at this. Can we get our choices wiped? There's absolutely no indication in the launcher that one is tied to another.
They also haven't mentioned what "Tier 2's left" means, and as there are clearly two very different "Tier 2's" on that chart, I can't derive it...

I've noticed that in my doctrine screen (as armour) it says how many points you have left for the top and bottom part, whereas others (like Vertiggo, apparently) apparently have "Tier 2's left". Is this possibly a bug where some doctrines' doctrine screens haven't been updated with the correct information?

We are aware that the launcher explanation of the doctrine system is a little lackluster, soon we will have a launcher rework coming which will hopefully address that problem though  |

My biggest question is, am I completely screwed or can I trust that I'll be given the choice to re-direct my tech path? If I am going to delete my own account, I will do it soon rather than later. Such a waste of time.

I picked up Oberst (3), and now it says "Unlock Selections, Remaining: 6". Entirely different than what it said first. What the heck does this mean?

As you level to unlock other things more points will be available It maxes at 8 points for the bottom icons
