That's a temporary fix, and its way too random.

Better off with the 2 - 4 uses of Global AP rounds or the assault teams for additional riflemen (meh) or engineer options (much win!).

1 free, 2 uses on random arty that has been nerfed? Does it have its old damage back where it could seriously hurt a Tiger if it hits?  If so, then it maybe is worth it, but I rather have something more reliable for a T3 that I can count on instead of the random factor of the earthshaker.

That's my prefence anyway Mgallun, take it or leave it, your company.. have it your way  Grin

EDIT: Instead of Area type sector arty, it's random earth shaker rounds in a huge area around your target.

That is your opinion, it's not a fact. I've used it and it can still put alot of hurt on tanks, while the infantry either get the hell out or get raped.

I never said it was a fact, with the only fact which you admitted to it being 'random but totally worth it'.

Please quote me where I said it was fact and that it's the only way, cause I clearly see where I told Mgallun that it was my preference and he can make his company how he likes, I just prefer something more predictable.

That is good and fine lionel, but you can't just outright tell someone to skip it just because you "think" it is getting removed, because it will infact stay.

No it did get removed, it's not Artillery Saturation (Sector Arty), but now it's Earthshaker, just noticed in patch it was changed.

Sector arty was worth it, but Earthshaker is really a meh ability, and I'm not the only one who thinks so, and my RCA buddy who used to run it says its totally underpowered after it got nerfed to hell.

Im refering to the ability itself, just because it was changed in the way it works it doesn't mean it is removed.
It was just made different, because quite frankly, the way it worked before was simply retarded.

@Mgallun - Currently not worth it from what I hear from other US Infantry players due to the fact it's the same as 105mm off-map but is affected by drift (Devs have stated they will look into the drift issue later).

So its like... if it misses, all the shells will miss in the same spot.. it really needs scatter.  But if it hits, all shells hit... so ask yourself if you can live with that.  Just like the 105mm howie kinda.. hit or miss weapon heh.

@Elite - Ahh I see what you mean now, well arty saturation was always sector arty to me in all its reincarnations before, and it (in my mind) has been replaced with the Earthshaker ability from RCA.

earthshaker still scares the crap out of everyone on the other side whwen you deploy it. When that first round hits and they realize what it is, they get the heck out of there.

It's an exact copy of earthshaker at the moment.  When RCA comes in we'll have to make it at least somewhat different.
