Supply pools will be looked at after the doctrines finish, we are aware of the current issues with PE and certain doctrine supply pools.

am I the only one that can run a good PE company without oversupplying?  Hell my current company doesn't even draw on the reserve pool...I just don't understand why it seems nobody else can do this.

Because not everyone has the exact same company/play style as you.

Because shermans are used for AI and rr's are used for tank killing
It doesn't matter the role of the unit; what matters is the unit type (M10s and Shermans have completely different roles, yet both take from the Armor pool).
In an Airborne company there should be very little armor support (and fewer vehicles in a Defensive company, fewer support weapons in a Blitz company, etc. It's exactly why the Pool system was implemented in the first place!). Yet with the current system, you can still run five Shermans (or seven Crocs!) in an Airborne company, or some similarly inappropriately high number of units in a company.
That being said.. a) with the 76mm upgrade, the Sherman has both excellent AI and AT ability, even though b) Shermans are there to provide the AI support that RRs need, while RRs snuff the life out of all vehicles that get within 10 miles of them.

I'm drawing on 3 different pools for AT : Infantry, Support and Armour. Can't get much more diverse than that.
I use 12 points for armour, 12 points in support and 4 points in infantry, all for AT.
Yet, I still manage to just barely break even in terms of anti-armor.

Nice in theory but if we limited the armour pool the way you suggest you'd either have fuel you're not using (which puts you at a disadvantage) or you'd have to spend pps if you wanted to spend all your fuel...
