In my last match I had a vet 2 M10. This M10 fought a vet 1 Panzer IV which had a single sticky's worth of damage (incl. engine). It took 6 shots due to misses, but the M10 managed to have the Panzer IV down to 1-5% hp with no main gun. The M10 proceeded to fire five more shots into the Panzer IV, all of which hit and penetrated. The Panzer IV lived through all of them with no extra damage such as engine destroyed, or more importantly, Panzer IV destroyed... a Hetzer came, finished off the M10 in one shot (as it was low health after fighting the Panzer IV), and the Panzer IV made it away to repair.

The Essence engine is complete shit and that was easily the most stupid experience I've ever had with a videogame. And this one incident pretty much singlehandedly made me lose faith in the game, so I'm done. Nobody really gives a shit, I just need to vent.

Sucks that you would leave the game over something as unfortunate as the 5% bug, but I guess there's nothing we can do to change your mind on that then  Undecided

Personally, I learned to live with the many random elements COH has in store, I've even come to accept and sometimes enjoy them.

I Feel you, but sometimes its better to leave it to die, than kill it and lose vet. If its low hp and no gun and destroy engine, leave it alone, It takes up pop and when you push, its prob be still there trying to repair

What strikes me though is that he went off and got a game over at OMG, which AFAIK still uses the same engine :p.

FTR, the p4 died with the last shot of your M10. Maybe it`s just beacuse i am playin only axis.. but i see things like that happening more often on shermans than on any german tanks.

Still a lot is happening that i dont like either. If u think that the basic idea of this mod is not making up for it (vetting in general for the next match) i am sry.

thats actually the only reason why i am still playin it..

kitekaze, what is the exact bug when the atg killed the panther? ive heard it on vent but now i see it on that video its even more non-bugged.

It is typical that players blame the mod instead of the engine that does it. He said that he is tired of the Engine but left to play another mod...with the exact same engine. Ironic imo

I pretty much stopped playing because of 5% crit tables on AT guns being stupid. Sure tanks can get damaged components but AT guns can't...

kite, who is that using the AT gun in that replay? He's blatantly abusing the semi-auto ATG bug which is a banable offence.

the biggest abuse i've seen was when a brit player abused atg , he fired , cloaked , fired , cloaked , fired , cloaked untill i was dead
