Guys, yes IST needs a buff but this thread is about the incidenary shell T3. It doesnt really look that useful for a T3 seeing you only use it now and then.

The incendiary shot is already the same as the grenade.

Could look into making it the mortar incendiary shot instead.

Pretty much this.  I've never had an occasion where I didn't wish I had an ostwind instead of an IST.  And my SE company has two T3s buffing the IST...

I played a game a few days ago where an IST annihilated my sticky squad before it could through and then circle strafed my 57mm eventually coming off map with 57 kills.

A few days ago it was bugged to insta-crit infantry in one second.

I haven't used it yet but it seems like it really isn't worth the t3 from what I hear. So if its not worth it in its current state then what If it shot multiple flame rounds out for x amount of seconds and have chemical fire buff it as well?

That was my other idea, my problem was it doesnt really bring anything new to the doctrine, doesnt increase tactical options of the unit, where as my above idea does.

Change the main weapon to:

Artillery shot like the StuH, with an incendiary round.  Make the burn area bigger than the Incendiary Grenade, but slightly slower burning.

OR

Regular firing IST, with an incendiary round but slightly slower rate of fire (0.75).  Make the burn area smaller than the Incendiary Grenade (0.5) with regular burn speed.

The IST is a great tank if used with at and inf support althou the pop value makes thi tank pretty hard to use since it forces u to already have that support available on field. An increase in Acceleration would be great it really needs it right now its a asthmatic turtle with a lot of heaving shopping trying at the same time squat fast moving ants with a hammer.

To me its splash is much larger than that of an Ostwind, and with its new accuracy it seems to his the vast majority of the time, while testing it could be a good idea, my initial gut reaction is OPOPOP! I guess its worth a try.

Back on topic: the t3 buff given to the IST from SE is worthless and needs to be better, hence my suggestions. So far we have had the following suggested: every shot leaves a little flamming crater, an AVRE shell that leaves a flaming area, making the area of the current shot simply larger and my total redesign of the unit.

any more ideas? any fav's? anyone think its fine currently?
