In this mod support weapons are very usefull, especially the mortars, nebels, howitzers, calliopees, hummel etc.
I think everyone knows these units are very important and sometimes necessary in the support war, taking out ATGs etc.

PE however lacks good good arty, unless you are SE. Their mortar is also not that special in my opinion, some people say its the best, I dont think so. I much rather have the Wehr mortar with the longer range, the PE mortar has to get very close, almost within range of an ATG when it can barrage it.

No matter what you think of the mortar, I think it would be AWESOME if PE gets a form of light artillery like the 'Wespe'. Its a smaller version of the Hummel. Check it out here at 3:05 min : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dXn8ThfV_o

Make it similar to the Hummel but then less powerfull as in less range, less shells, less dmg but more mobile and perhaps a faster rate of fire.
Could even replace it with the useless BergeTiger.

How epic would that be for PE gameplay.

Mortar HT has the same range as Ami mortar and is about 10 times harder to kill.

Its not so much that it wouldn't be awesome as much as not really necessary. The mod has always tried to make a point of not adding units necessarily

Mortar HTs are awesome. Whenever I used them they racked up 20 kills easly without me even watching them.

same, but if this unit were nondoctrinal, it would cost much fuel which you obviously do not have as pe (at least i dont..)
