it does, generally.
it doesnt even need too much effort (like redesigning the site, which would be the last step) there only needs to be a big fat button right on top of it which links to the getting started section. new players do not find it on their own especially because they  dont even care about the forums at the beginning since they just want to play.

i thought about a HOW TO PLAY button like the paypal donate button just a bit bigger

These are very valid concerns, and in light of future PR events they should be top priority.

Please keep bringing up ideas on how we can increase accessibility with minimal changes.

there are also problems with registering on the website, it sometimes doesnt send the activation email.

2days ago a noob asked where to download the mod after registering..

the button should be done BEFORE the EiR SNF. its a very small fix anyway.

Host NoobNights so the newbs can all get in one vent channel and Smokaz as mentor can teach them how it all works. It can works as long as you make it know to all the peoples, like thru SFN.
