What if calliope could fire like stuka , upwards? IMO it would be cool to have fire raining from the sky

thats being done in BKmod, it makes them arrive at their target uber fast (= OP)
but most of the time they hit a building that was in the path, and since they only shoot like 6 shells, that sucks.

It would work well if ur trying to kill units in a building though. Isnta gib them, without a chance to react LOL

The possibility of dodging Calliope barrage by hiding behind houses is good gameplay imo.

i'd love to see the callie do that, i dont think it'd be that OP except maybe against tanks (rear armor hits) and you could have it come down in a circle area, callie Rocket Rain.

"I want proof!"
"I have proof!"
"Whatever, I'm still right"
Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Gameplay wise = current firing mode is interesting since you can hide behind cover.
Realistically, the angle of the launchers needed to have rockets rain from above will damage the Calliope's firing mechanism, and possibly generate enough thrust to send the Calliope hurtling through the air and act as a kamikaze brick.

the time of rockets flying to its target would increase , like in stuka , you would have more time to react and move out.
If anything callie insta destroys support weapons now.
Aloha axis fanboi , sees a thread with allies in it and goes " OMG OP NOOOOOOOOOOO"

actually he has an armor account
but imho it woud be very nice gameplay wise when we remove all arty > mortar from the mod
whats your next wish for your companies calliope rockets replaced by V1's?
imho it was even over the top to give it its maingun back...makes it even much more difficult to kill the by far hardest to kill arty unit of CoH
in vCOH it had at least half double reload back in old days on its maingun
