Current ability works and is impressive, but makes 0 sense as it only destroys buildings and a massive explosion on top of a rifleman doesn't even tickle him.

Suggestion:

Scorched Earth
2 free uses 4 max
Targeted ability that instantly destroys any unoccupied building in neutral or axis territory.
Able to be used at game start, even if axis is attacking.
No cooldown.

OR

Pre-placed Traps
2 free uses 4 max
Targeted ability that places a booby trap instantly in any unoccupied building in neutral or axis territory.
Able to be used at game start, even if axis is attacking.
No cooldown.

An ability that prevents capture of a sector/neutralizes a sector would still be better(Like Scorched Earth in vCoH) I/we are brainstorming ideas and workarounds to implement this(or something similar) SE is supposed to be the most technical of the PE doctrines. Requiring thought and preperation to succeed. Right now it doesn't feel that way so as always suggestion are always welcome.

Scorched Earth in vanilla CoH is a delay and deny tactic. By delaying, it go well with tons of obstacles and hell fire. But by denying resource, EiR has no resource which make the tactic useless.

How about an ability when cast on a sector, the area remains player's for 5 minutes?
Or it could be removing random one of enemy's call-in.

Scorch-earth enemy spawn, or one of the lanes in a two-lane rectangular sectors map(like RTC)

A Pre-placed trap is a good idea, but make it so it can only be place within the first minute of the game. Pre-placed stuff don't just magically appear in the middle of battle (Like vcoh Falls).
