...and less of a pansy lol. Imho he should either cost less or be able to hold his own like the American officer. for 170mp and 180muI don't think he is cutting it as one of the Axis's finest. I mean the barrage is nice but with its small radius and 3-4s delay, it only works well against setup support teams. and since it's a mortar barrage it does minimal dmg to vehicles and tanks AFAIK and that's if your opponent is idling so horribly bad that you manage to hit them. Also the barrage has a huge cooldown. Now I have the T3 senior officers, but I believe the aura is wayyy to small and should instead either be 30m (from 10) or be a sector aura like british leaders. In its current state, it allows for no strategicness whatsoever since all your inf/vehicles/tanks need to be extremely blobbed for them to receive the bonus from the officer. This makes your army prone to get one-shotted by howitzer/priest/calliope/tank fire/grenades/etc etc. As it is the officer isn't worth much and he can't shoot for shit with his little luger. Opinions? Agree or disagree?

i think the little aura is ment to only support one or two units, like supervision.
axis inf is already quite tough. wont an officer buff make em too strong?

Maybe the aura could be expanded at the expense of the bonuses being reduced a tad then? Or you know what would be really cool that i just thought off? Being able to attach him to a squad like in DoW. and giving him an LMG haha PS: but some modifications do need to be done

The officer as a base is fine.
T3 Senior Officers is indeed underpar, and will be buffed soon.

Luger proved more deadly in combat compared to the MP40. the STG44 however was a decent weapon on it. All things considered the Luger is his best choice. Instant kills are hilarious.

I still like the idea of weapon upgrades at vet 2. The def. officer can get his stg44 at vet 2, and the Ami officer can get his wtfpawnsauce .45 back at vet2 as well.

tsk tsk Groundfire. What about the Shoutcast quality of a 1 man squad standing there supervising a squad or MG42 firing away with his pistol and taking names. It looks more badass

I would like to see that tbh. I've done it. I love the officer supervision plus, the t3 people dont seem to realize the officer still gets his original supervision bonus, so you have the aura plus being able to select it for i think about a 30-35% dmg and acc bonus. I always use the officer supervision on the mg42 and it's just so wtfpwn. i think he's fine as is.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

If, for some reason he does, then it's a bug.

Tymmie, you'll notice that when you start supervising a single unit, the aura disappears.

i've never used it and wont be getting it. I asked a dev about it before and was told that it works simultaneously, i guess they didn't' know what they were talking about.

What dev? Unless it's Bob or Gamesguy, there's little chance that the dev will know exactly how it works, if even the base principle. Not all the devs work with RGDs, you know, and not all of them get to use every single ability in the game due to time limitations.

Does his Tooltip[ still say 35% accuracy/Damage? Thats pretty outdated. He should be doing 25% accuracy and 20% damage I think. Personally I'd love to see supervise affect tanks. When I played defensive I'd have my officer running behind Smokaz's Tiger at the time, each time he stopped to fire a shot I'd apply the bonus

Can the def officer supervise work on 88s again? I miss that synergy part about my doctrine choices ever since they changed the officer supervise to its current form
