The video is amazing.  The cinematography is excellent and the way you caught the action is definitely impressive.  Wish we weren't limited by bandwidth, I'd love to see the full size movie... Great work.

downloading the movie is the only way to go, the streaming leaves it a bit blocky, and this thing is under 100 megs, i can't believe it compressed so small.. I didn't REALLY use that many transitions or filters and stuff so I guess thats probably why..

I really really like some of the scene's in it, little gems where I try to show something i the middle but if you watch the sides you get the action over there too, its hard to catch only watching it once, but watch it a few times and watch the periferial a bit more Wink

already 1 confirmed member from watching this movie on pcoh (RABIDsomething), if anyone can host it on Gamers replay or relicnews, put a link up for the filefront location for me, er well i don't have a gamers replay... but link it there someone i'll do relic news.

I know for a fact that MOVIES of the games will reach a broader audiance as a lot of people watch these things!

i'll try to get hte next one a bit shorter and smaller to fit on youtube and make it more like a movie preview does..

I like the text and presentation. Though cinematic mode annoys me. Can't see what's realy going on.

You mean rabidracoon?

I'm not a big fan of cinematic mode aswell, I'd prefer a view simular to the ingame view as it gives a nice overview and still shows plenty of action. (With an occasional zoom in, etc)

Amazing work either way.

split it into parts, the first part up to "join the batte" and split up the allied pushes etc.

oh i agree with you unknown and lai, that if it was purely a demonstration of the mod and only that, cinematic view wouldn't work (ie a shoutcast) but in the truth of it I make the videos to be more of an art form, and the scenes are more crafted to fit a percieved vision rather then FULLY telling the story.

for instance there is one scene right after the music ends of a lone sherman firing on a desolate looking building. I LOVE the way that scene looks, its probably my favorite in the movie with the scene of the AT/rifleman moving through the woods with the artillery landing around them as a close second.   but it all comes down to what you want out of a movie vrs what its made to be..

its ment to look good, and attract people that way, and serve as a memory to those who partook...

I also agree with cozmo that this movie is to long, it originaly stopped at the end of the music, but for prosperity of the moment and the fact there was some great footage later in the fight i doubled its length to finish the whole fight off in a loose knitt version of story telling..

I plan to make a more informative movie after the wipe, to help advertise more.. it should work really well with what you have in mind for a movie unkown.. Smiley

I'd actually just be using fraps since it records audio/microphone aswell.

In addition I think we need a few showcase games on showcase official finalised maps from a "true" perspective to show people what it's really all about. (And thats why some with a shoutcast on top of it could be amazing)

i'll get you some compressed in game footage (frap in game play then compress in sony vegas to a .wmv), not replay footage.

Get me a cool "combat sequence/action packed movie" of a replay on road to carentan, that'd mean so much to me Shocked.
