Alright, i came out of a game and now im tired thus im posting a topic.
This is what happens.
I play sometime, then it suddenly decides to flicker and blur screen like a picture over a picture DANCING, what i do to solve this is going to tactical map for like 7 - 10 secs then it stops i can play on, this fails me so bad in this mod sometimes.
It happens alot in EiR, i barley notice this else in vCOH.
What i think is your maps is filled with something thats fuxing this up.
To many details on a place? i dunno.
This never happens in any other game then coh.
It killing me really, but now its getting worse now it decides to e.x. i do camera right and then it stops and freezes, and do up 4 cm with camera, and then goes back
and then repeat.
I then need to alt tab, after some alt tabbed times it starts to be all fuxing up on my screen.

I had this on my laptop also, i bought new pc in hope for this shit to go away.
I DONT GET THIS FAIL.

My video card is getting all his cookies also, as i have moved down to our basement which we havent even started working on yet, it looks like im sitting in a batcave with wired wires going to my pc.
Just so it could get air.
I clean my pc every week as careful i am.

But its still doing it.. wtf is this..
-------------------------------
Could a new windows solve this e.x. windows 7? vista? i got all windows here i just want to get rid of this..
im running XP Sp3

SOLVED

Yea thats what i suspect to, i aint good at this but in my belief i think its to much at a place that the engine is designed for.

Anyway, i hope for solution.
Or something that i can do ingame to avoid this!

I don't care what people say about the next 50 OSs to come out. A hard reboot (re: shut your computer completely down, wait 10 seconds, then start it up again) will ALWAYS fix shit. Stop being so impatient and shut your computer down when you are done. It needs a break just like smokaz does after running 20 yards.

Another possible issue your COH could be having is a memory leak somewhere. A possible fix for this is, after each game of COH, instead of clicking the exit button once you get back into the main menu, alt-f4 it. This should clear up any memory that COH is holding onto.

I have a friend who constantly argues this with me. He argued it when he got vista. He argues it now while he has windows 7. Every once in a while his computer (which he is stupid enough to leave on days on end) starts screwing up. I tell him to reboot, and after he tries EVERYTHING else, he does a hard reboot, and WALLA! The problem is gone!

Would you just like to reboot every time you play mostly?

If it works for you, then take the extra 5 minutes to do it. Will save time in the long run.

Just don't let the computer go into Sleep mode. Alternatively, when you have your 2 hour break from the PC; restart it.

The best way to keep your computer from dying too soon is to routinely give it a break. Even if its for 15 minutes or so; turn it off and let it rest.
