allies
thaellman and hansvonluk+ 2 new guys

vs

axis
bartski, me and 2 new guys

the entire game both teams had about half the map controlled.. later the allied started pushing with even more tanks than they had before that.

and at 35 minutes the axis lost because of a shortage of territories.

but the amazing thing is, is that bartski's and my kills were like double the losses we made.
our two new teammates also had a bit more kills than losses.
and the allies had ofcourse.. massive losses and hardly kills.

so weird that they did win.
the reason is probably because we did not advance enough ourselves.

was a fun game with quite some action.

its easy to get an awesome kill to death ratio and lose the game.

You need more aggression.

well.. i did rush in my panther at one point.

only to get it stickied and killed by like 4 atg shots.

my teammate with his panther just drove off instead of protecting my 200xp tank...

Mysthalin's thoughts on 200 exp tank dieing :

boo-hoo, you'll get a new one.

Thinking like this helps you win games, btw.

It means stop caring about vet and charge some. You may lose units, but you'll win the game - and that's what counts.

don't get attached to vet, you win more games not caring about it.

This is normal and vCoH design. Allies lose more men naturally with their 6man squads, Axis kill more with less men to lose, but there is always a high chance that you will be overwhelmed, thus you get the negative k/d ratio winning allies.

Having anything between a 1:1 - 2:1 k/d ratio as axis is normal. You are not phenomenal untill you hit a 3:1 or a 4:1 k/d ratio, and even then, deduct half the games you played that were probably stomps.

americans 6 man squad, axis 4 man squad. so that would be 60 kills and 40 losses for axis. for 1:1 ratio.

only vehicles and support weapons dont count. and brits have 5 man squads.

so 50 kills 40 losses would be more likely the average.

except historically US uses a lot of rifles and axis use more MP worth of tanks and support weapons.

Except history doesn't matter, and if you're referring to EiRR's history - then your referring to nothing more but history.

Nowadays, with shermans costing less fuel than P4s, and light vehicles being used far more often than before, the manpower going into tanks and vehicles shifts fairly heavily in allied consumption. Conversely, to deal with the higher amount of tanks and to act according to the metagame changes, the axis use more panthers - which have a very high fuel to manpower ratio.

Support weapons have also been pretty much equalised, with allied mortars and MGs becoming far more cost efficient(due to the changes in cost, no doubt).
