on doctrine implementation

if I'm running a doctrine that is not yet in and I select some of the unlockables available now, am I stuck with them once the doctrine is implemented?

For the doctrines to be implemented since we have been with out them, can we not have the doctrine choices we already made reset even if we dont regain our PP count? i guess its fine if we dont ill just not get any further unlocks till there out.
