I really really love the new launcher, However in light of the recent news post on GR we have had a HUGE influx of new players, trying to help them by typing is bad enough, when it gets mixed in with general chit chat it becomes a nightmare and really frustrating. Would it be possible to have like a second chat space somewhere exclusively for helping people?
I know it's a lot to ask for after the new launcher, I woudlnt do it if i didnt think it was necessary.

EIRR is EIRR not EIRRVENT.
If we have to do that for EVERY new person, whether they want to use vent or not we might as well say to play EIR you MUST have vent, which isnt true TBH.
That is unless you want to spend HOURS in the launcher helping people leo? and then have it made harder for you?

Ventrilo is a good medium. For fast questions we got the launcher, and for the complex questions we got the forum.
But yeah a type of "Need Admin SOS" chatroom in the launcher could be good. :]

The ideal solution is probably making the game so simple that they don't really need any more help :p

adding a scrollbar to the chat is already planned probably,
above that, you could add something they have in vcoh: /w "playername" blablabla
the text would show up in green or something so u can look it up easy while scrolling back.
and wini, there is a launcher suggestion topic. post there?

I edited the ticker to provide new players with three essentials, so that they don't make one of the three most common mistakes. Let me know what you think and if I forgot something big. The idea is that they watch the video tutorials for more in-depth guidance obviously. (Or read the text tutorials)

Please put the word EXACTLY in caps for step one... BEcause guys have a name, but its a shrtened version... Such as Classic2retro had classic and said thats my name isn't it? So make sure the word Exactly is in there big and bold so they know it has to match caps and all. |

Puddin' spamtmi cant really blame smokaz i mean playing against puddin is like trying to fight off breast cancer. You might win and do it and be a bad ass but you'll feel sick and mutilated forever.
