Well,
It seems my supportless Blitz company does pretty good until it runs into AB RR spam... at which point the blob can easily brush aside my anti inf pumas and regular volks...
So, I'm thinking of using either KCH or flamers and putting them into HT to ensure they can enter the blob.
I think Kch or like 100 MU, MP is not an issue. So, I can get 2 flamers for every KCH but I'm not sure whether KCH or flames are better vs heroic armor.

Use the range of pumas against the RR squads. Puma is the direct counter to airborne.

no they aren't that is one of eirr mysteries..they are better than other vehicles yes but RR still hit pumas and if you use cover pumas do shit damage
flamer pios supportet by some grens would do ok, if you have trouble with blobs give the grens nades...don't waste munitions into lmgs since they are much harder to use (only defensively)

I would go for flame throwers, maybe even goliaths if your willing to give up the iniative and bait the blob onto them. also I would avoid using a halftrack as the rr's will instant kill it probably possibly killing everyone inside, just mix your flame pio's in with your volk meatshields and you should be OK as long as the AB are forced to keep moving.

Anyway I have to agree on the mass pumas, they effectively rape AB. All axis players should know this because of their weird hit boxes, while rangers can rape light vehicles. Puddin is a good example, he brings out 4 pumas with his teammates running axis infantry and tanks and unless I have many rangers on the field, they will wipe the floor instantly of any ATGs and AB have almost no chance of hitting them before they drop like flies, and god forbid you paradrop on the pumas.. say GG airborne?  |
