Kinda Depends on how you play i guess..   but this is what i have with my US Infantry Company, it has the first teir of advantages, so extra mp and mun..

3 57mm with AP Rounds
3 HMGs with AP Rounds
1 Engineer with Triage
1 Howi
3 Jeeps
1 Motar
7 Rifles with BARS and Nades
3 Rifles with just Stickies
3 Unupgraded Rifles
3 Rangers with zooks
1 Full package ranger
2 Shermans
2 M10s

pretty standard build for us, just have to figure out what works for you thou i suppose.

As Mgallun says, depends how you run US Infantry.

Tank Reapers Build, I would focus on having as many rangers with bazookas as possible.  This is currently what I run without oversupplying.

5 Full Package Rangers
5 Double Bazooka Rangers
3 ATGs with AP Rounds
1 American Officer (to buff accuracy of all the rangers)
1 Engineer with Triage
2 105mm Howitzers (to deal with infantry and support spam)
4 M10 Tank Destroyers
2 Quads HTs
3 HTs
2 HMG Teams

If Doing a double T3 company (Howie and Ranger buff), the build would be similar but you'd have more howitzers and you'd want to take advantage of the 10% HP bonus on rangers.

If doing a Rifle Training Company, there are two ways to go with that.  Rely on mass riflemen with BARs, or go with the sturdier rangers as basic Anti-Infantry while their M1 carrying squadmates are doing more damage.

Of note with the most recent balance change, quads and M8 greyhounds are now at the same price (with skirts), so you have a bigger choice of options in choosing between an armored light vehicle OR a long range suppression halftrack.  I would forgo US Support teams as they generally suck compared to their axis counterparts and when I play Wehr I love punishing a US player who uses support teams and has no way to counter my mortar, heh. The only reason I get the HMG teams in my company is either late game or cause I have no other pool I can tap without going oversupply, but once I get enough PP to do so, most likely will snag some more rangers.

Edit: Might I add that the MUST unlocks regardless is the American Officer.  SMG heroic officer that offers a great accuracy and suppression resist buff (great for either a ranger OR riflemen company).  Triage center only if you want to repair lots of ATGs or heal rangers, worthless to take if you field mainly riflemen as they die too quickly to cycle healing. Howitzer is great to use up support and replace the useless US mortars.  I can't justify Specialist Equipment as you pay a heck of a lot for an overpriced bazooka on a weak platform, whileas rangers can resist things that would kill riflemen platforms with double the AT weapons.  105mm on-map is pretty decent if it doesn't drift.  If you really plan to do a mass rifle army, then I could recommend Assault Teams but I find them lackluster unless you base your entire army around constantly deploying smoke to take advantage of the fragile and expensive teams it has to offer. The saturation arty can be very hit or miss, and some people like stacked shells but I think there are better things to spend on.

It's US infantry, you're either going to do riflemen or rangers, not like you have a huge selection of infantry to choose from.  Either you get durable infantry (my playstyle) or you rely on Russian wave style combat (mass riflemen, ala Computer's company with his mass vet 3 riflemen).

My playstyle would be conducive to those who can take care of Stormtroopers and keep them on the field the whole game (great micro with a handful of units), while some people may suck at microing tanks and expensive infantry.  To those people, having 'more' units so that one mistake doesn't heavily cripple you puts you more in favor of having lots of cheap units.  A good example is Panda's force, which relies on LOTS of Knight's Cross Holders.  Computer, back in the day, did an entire company based around MP40 volks.  Both are scary against my company for example, either thru attrition with high losses or sheer brute force with a smaller, more powerful elite force.

No prob Ketten, I've helped 3 other US infantry players set up their companies and they are loving it.  I'm usually on vent all the time, so if you need playstyle or company advice, hit me up on there whenever.  I go by either 23rdRangerCompany or Lionel23.

Well when he does eventually, this is assuming 'end game'.  Till balance it with less rangers and more vehicles or take shermans or something.  That's just what I run currently with my lvl 9 company, everyone's mileage will vary  Grin

I know for sure once I get an extra 450 MU with my Wehr company, its going to be packing a lot more firepower than my lvl 1 Wehr company, heh.

Zook Ranger, Bar Riflesquad, ATG, MG, Flame engies, Mortar is a pretty basic core that can deal with mostly anything.

By the time he can run the same company as lionel he will have his own starting callin figured out.
Right now it won't help him the least thing to know what kind of core he can have with a level 9 company.

New companies still got no PP right? Soo that means no rangers or anything...

So starting, I guess 1 ATG, MG, Mortar, 1 rifle squad (bars), and you can throw in a quad or m8/m3 units.. depending how you rearrange these units and if you don't like mortars or MGs, etc.

If you plan to run elite infantry, get rangers ASAP once you can purchase it, otherwise you'll go with a howitzer as your first unlock for better support in your company.  A riflemen/early US infantry company will focus around some support weapons backing up ATGs and Riflemen with upgrades or vanilla.  If you float lots of spare munitions, I highly recommend going Shermans and getting the 76mm upgun (a MUST), repair kit (if you think you can make them survive), and finally a .50cal if you really have that much muni left.  Also recommend several squads of flame engineers if you don't tap your entire infantry pool and pair them with riflemen for more offensive firepower.

Depends, if you're Defensive I can offer advice I got from other players.  If you're Blitz or Terror that will be other people.

And dang vet 3 infantry already? Well if you got rangers and howitzers, I like putting 1 to 2 rangers in my start to deal with any light vehicle spam and provide your ATG with support from being flanked (thats 12 + 4 pop = 16).  You could add a M8 greyhound or quad to that, or if you prefer footbased maybe an M3 HT and MG team, or MG with engineers (something to protect you against an early axis infantry push). The rangers will be meant to 'shield' your ATG with tough bodies in cover, while whatever other choice you choose will actually counter the enemy infantry or provide support fire to prevent you from being rushed.
