no mp44 grens. u already have normal kch, 4 man kch as unlock, mp40 volks, PE has assault grens.
too much overlap, just remove gren sniping and make the stalingrad sniper better + a separate unit

Normal KCH falls into the exact area that Commandoes are in now... they are not a cost-effective unit for their pool/pop/cost/performance.
4-man KCH are able to perform due to the fact they have an extra guy and gun, and thus can lose 3 guys before you pull the squad to retain vet.
MP40 Volks are decent assault infantry, but will get chewed up by mass infantry or half that with BARs, and are just mowed down by dedicated allied assault infantry (commandoes, SMG rangers). And being low health they suffer from the problem of assault riflemen too with losing too many guys on the charge usually (in the face of very stiff resistance).
PE Assault Grens are not grens, and are weaker.
If we want to talk about overlap, then KCH and Volks overlap as assault infantry, no? And Grens would overlap with them with LMGs as they all perform the same role.. anti-infantry duties.
This is a tougher, more viable assault squad (and only via a T3 doctrine unlock through terror, mind you) that can be used to supplement KCH (as usually a single squad of them is not terrifying, and they usually need to be run in pairs or hidden in a blob in order to get the job done). The infantry is 2 Pool (grens) and lacks Sprint/Fire up or anything. This would put it roughly on par with the idea behind T3 US Infantry Assault teams, where riflemen get SMGs and Greaseguns (though shame on the person who reduced their size to 5 man instead of 6, squad performs terribly without the ability to take shots on the charge).

If you use mp40 volks as assault infantry just like KCHs you are using them wrong, if you also use LMG grens as assault infantry... you are using them wrong as well.

MP40s aren't long range wepons for one... and I never said grens were assault infantry, I said they perform the same role as the other two in regards to being anti-infantry duty. Now Grens with fire on the move LMGs might be an interesting take on assault infantry, as LMGs do pretty nasty damage at close range...

How it would be crap if it's cost was around 30 munitions, and there are many fans of gren spamming, this would really suit their gamestyle, I'm not sure if such upgarde should be allowed with shrek + lmg, imo yes since it's t3.
I'd rather hear someone who does rgd coding what he thinks about this.

SMG Rangers, Flame engineers and BAR rifles all perform the same role "anti-infantry duty", do they overlap each other? no... the same happens with mp40 volks, LMG Grens and KCHs.

No? All you have to do is give good points on why we should consider it, if it's deemed worth implementing it's argued on the BA/PR/Dev board depending on the issue. After that the coders get green light to implement the changes.

I actually have to agree with Aloha: while it is pretty fun, it would not be cost effective and too vague for a T3
If you want anything like buffs (I personally love the marksman shot idea, makes you really go ummy when engaging Grens)
We should do stuff like Experienced Officers or Honor in Duty and give gren / volks squads a KCH, possibly some mix between mp 40's and K98's etc.
Personally I would love to see 4 volks, 1 KCH, (so 1mp44, 2 mp 40's and 2 k98's) for example
(or even better, a 5 mp 40 volks + KCH
).
Or give the KCH some kind of (small) aura buff like -10% suppresion and +10% rate of fire (or something like that) making the KCH more of a "leader" than a weird assault squad which (with the med kid being nerfed) hit by the good ol' nerf bat a bit too hard.
(specially considering I used to run 4 KCH and had my doubts about them, they are epic, but can be soooo easily countered by snipers and stuff because of the lack of med kits)
