Now this was something people talked about for a long time in wanting, and what they wanted was a button that would save and reload their company in the launcher.  It is not a feasable request.  It is not worth the manpower nor is it truly feasible.

But ... I think I might have an idea that can go into the 'potential one day' list.

What if there was a button to 'remember company layout' that simply dumped everything into a text file.

IE:

CORE:
1:
Riflemen
<upg> Bar
<upg> Grenade
Riflemen
<upg> Stickie
HMG
<upg> AP rounds
HMG
Mortar

2:
Jeep
<upg> repair

3:
Sniper

ASSAULT:

1:
HMG
MORTAR

blah blah..

its not something that can happen right now, but it is something that could help people remember how their setup was and visually find what they are missing.  The save txt file button would be helpful as you gain resources or make tweaks.

just a thought from an old concept we were discussing previously.

I think I've heard someone mention something like this before, it might have been you actually. Regardless, good idea Sally!

I can actually implement a 'company saver' so that everything you had last game (bar reward units) is rebought.

Would that suffice?

I dont think a template system is really worth the effort considering Doctrine choices and Advantages skew the effectiveness of such a system.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

Could you add a little tick symbol to the top left corner of the icons, allow users to press this icon which means they want that unit rebought?

that would be nice,

if it doesnt take too much time. warmap is 1000 times cooler  Cheesy

and salan's idea is also cool because then people can post their company on the website and others(newbs) can try those out.

That would work - but Id prefer to do in on a complete company wide basis.

Its easier too.
