So I've just unlocked the Hertz ambush ability for the StuG and tested it in game once. The StuG does not target infantry when the ability is activated, which is good, but it will also not attack infantry from cloaked even if ordered to, is this the same as the Hertz?

Anyway has anyone any tips as to how to use this ability properly? I haven't played with anyone else using it yet. I've dropped most top MG's from the StuGs so it won't ruin the camo if infantry go running by.

but mg-s on stugs rock,you have inf unit passing by,just uncloack it and mop them...
mg wont ruin cloack,just put it on not fire mod...

it's good if you start with stug..just run in in the middle of map or something and cloack him...

Haha that's a great point Mysthalin. So the ambush its self isn't considered good then?

Of course its good- with a fixed gun getting lucky and lining up that first shot is crucial. The thing is ambush removes turn radius so if the enemy has fast movers going by maybe not.
