Hey guys I was hoping to get some help with my heavy support build, I just got the t4 heavy support from terror, I was it kind of like carbines, as in it will improve the efficiency of my units. However im struggling to get my actual support weapons, and with the new availability system its impossible to over supply really, especially on units that are defo going to die.

ATM I have 4 mg's, 2 snipers, 2 nebs, 1 mortar. Thats all my support supply and all of my reserve. Compared to something like carbines where all 28 rifle squads get better, it feels a bit lame tbh.  You may have noticed a lack of Paks, well my support pool is precious and I wanted to use units that really get benefit out of my T4, and I feel due to atg sniping and such, Paks are not worth it with this T4.

FYI heavy support gives all support weapons elite armour, 33% more hp and gives the mg42 am an ability which is reverse suppression fire, it increases accuracy at the cost of suppression.

So thoughts, should I jsut oversupply? should i drop the snipers? wtf should I do to maximize this t4?

WHAT?! superstitous peasant nonsense. Drop a sniper, get 1-2 more Mg42 and 3 paks.

what kind of heavy support co. doesnt have paks.

you lack AT and your MGs are gonna pay for it, which is the crux of your army, IMO.

Pak benefits heavily from the extra hp.  It will easilly win any ATG sniping war against 57mm and 6lbers with heavy support.  Not to mention it cloaks, so you don't have to engage the 57 if you don't want to.

I dunno, I have had such bad 57 sniping experiences lately ive lost all faith in Paks...they just get 3 shot.  The HP buff is the crew no? I didnt see that it effected the gun too.

afaik, medpaks still heal the pak gun as well right?

if this is so, go f'en crazy. You should never lose a atg gunfight with all those buffs.

If heavy support and medkits both work on the gun, thats news to me.

Ok ive reworked the build to 8 mg's, 2 Paks, 1 mortar, 1 nebel, 7 volks, 7 grens, 5 geshutz,

its....tiny, and gets no use out of my flame buff from my t3 and is completely exposed to snipers....

why 8 mgs? overkill

And you dont need that many recrew squads either. Your building your army around the assumption that your support weapons are going to be overrun.

Stretch what you got. Aggressive MG play, suppress and move, run double LMG grens in close support and you can make do 5 MGs, and have the resources left to fill gaps in your build.

I have 8 mg's because the last game i played I was hit by 5 offmaps, and it seems to be becoming typical. Ill try what you say...but im dubious. I didnt buy 2x lmgs, I thought the terror sniper and Terror assault would be good. I was wrong.

smoke by US officer - T2, Assault teams - T3 (satchels + flamethrowers on rifles). And T4 carabines Smiley Very funny game style: smoke, run, kill'em all.

I know I have it, Doesnt do so well on pio's, they kinda just insta die, but ive been having fun with flammens, they are almost a good unit, they have become passable for sure imo. I got the extra speed rather than the damage t2, I imagine with the damage t2 they would be quite scary.

4 mgs, 4 paks, 2 snipers, 2 mortars, and a KT.  Win.

I could do that build, without the KT because i went Terror sniper instead. The problem is I feel obligated to use Nebels otherwise im just wasting the t3 prior to heavy support, which gives me more rockets and more damage. Same reason I run flammens, to actually use my t3 I spent 45 pp's on.

you can always ignore pp count, you just wasted 3 Points on it. Points are what matters the most!

I was thinking of doing a 3 MG, 3 Sniper 1 Nebelwerfer coy..
