I was just fiddling around with my company and I have room for either 4 marders or 1 panther. (Can also afford all upgrades on each.)
Just trying to figure out what is best for my company or in general.
I have no other vehicle anti tank (including atht's) However I have 5 squads of tank busters.
I am basically using marders as at guns. Trying to stay away from 50mm atht at least until someone screams blasphemy. I guess i might as well throw up my company for scrutinizing while I'm at it:
'/' denotes end of platoon
Core:
2x Scout cars (All upgrades) 1x tank buster 1x assault gren 1x inf ht 1x vampire 1x marder/
Assault:
1x mortar/ 1x munition ht/ 2x unupgraded pg's/ (had extra mp to use)
Infantry:
2x platoons of assault grens & pgs (pg's have g43s + incid nade) 1x assault gren + 1 pg/ 1x pg w/ incid & g43/ 4x identical platoons of 1 tank buster and 1 pg with at nade. (only pg has at nade)/
Tank:
1x P4ist/ Currently 4x marders/ (1 per platoon)
At: None
Support:
Hotch Stuka. =\
I am currently left with 25/380/20 (Marders do not have repair on them atm)
Feel free to throw any criticism at me.

4 Marders, they do so much DMG. If you can scout well enough that is,without proper sight marders suck.

Remember, marders aren't a tank, think of them as an AT gun, in that respect they should always be paired with at least some infantry and some form of secondary AT (my personal favorite is the LATHT which isn't exactly AT but with treadbreaker it might as well be lol, plus it makes a great unit for defending the marder against minor infantry attacks and helps again Light vehicles)

Kk, I haven't had time to really notice but, does the lockdown grant the marder maximum sight? Or is it able to shoot beyond the sight it gains from the lockdown?
Also, does the lockdown grant a dmg bonus? The description says something along the lines of "lockdown to utilize cannon better" That is definitely not what it says but the gist i got out of it was that it increased its power, dunno if that simply means increased range.

I think it just increases the ROF, not 100% sure though.

Lock down gives Marder extra sight and accuracy. Not sure about the RoF thing, but it wouldn't be surprising if it did also grant extra RoF.
I would go for the marders. 1 panther is nothing in terms of AT to 4 marders.

IMO hotchkiss stuka sucks as does the basis tank itself. I've never seen AT nades used succesfully as tanks are hardlyever immobilised.
You have assault grens and g43s in the same section but you've given the g43s incid nades. It makes more sense to give it to the Assault grens since they will be the ones closing down the enemy and coming into grenade range.
Apart from that it looks ok, most important thing is to play with it and adapt it to your playstyle every game.

For me hotch stuka is a good tank, since it's quit powerful against inf blobs. It's like a newbel with a lot of speed so it can counter ennemy counterbatter.

Hotchkiss stukas are probably the second worst arty pieces in the game. It's only a little better than the stuka because the hotchkiss can defend itself even though it only fires 4 rockets. I'm amazed when I see people with vet 3 hotchkiss stukas. It takes at least 10 games for a vet 3, depending on how good the players you use it against are.

I personally love the hotch stuka. It's fast, it's easy to micro, and it can defend itself from enemy infantry. As long as there are no airborne, you should be able to take on any enemy inf - just make sure you're not taking on an AT gun . Though the barrages themselves are a bit hard to get the grasp of. Having 2 stukas on at the same time helps by a very huge margin, though.

Thanks for input. I usually never have the hotch stuka in my build as i've seen a post before about how terrible it is, i used it once and wasn't too pleased with it.
I've taken it out, switched the incid nades around, took off at nades, at least until at stickies =]
