I liked this change.  Hideously oversupplying just means that you'll have to empty out your pockets to do it.

so it is a side effect, obviously an unwanted side-effect.
It seems pretty obvious to me from the wording in that post that this is a desired side effect (note that "too" at the end there). Especially when you consider that this side effect was pointed out by the same person announcing the change, at the same time as the change was announced, without any mention of plans to avoid the side effect. (And honestly, if they wanted to avoid the extra oversupply cost, it would have been a very quick fix.)

Agreed, I also understood from that post that they actually wanted to make oversupplying more expensive to prevent spamming. I love it anyway, you can still have themed companies, but spamming is (almost) impossible.

With the reduction in PP costs, you should be able to save up pps quicker. The whole point of oversupply and extra offmaps are for PP sinks after you have all of your unlocks.

Luftwaffe as in the "Luftwaffe infantry"? Considering how 3 pool is the cheapest pool cost any unit can currently have (same as rifles, volks etc, and half of US engineers for instance) after they tripled all pool numbers, I don't really see why they should be even cheaper. (True, the main reason for the new system was to make it possible to tweak pool values by minor amounts, but I don't see any reason why the luftwaffle ground forces should be cheaper poolwise than, well, everything else.)

That's because they're essentially volks that suck more due to no access to panzerfausts, MP40s, slowmines or even medikits(not that anybody would buy kits on volks ;p). Plus - they're a doctrinal unlock.
