So, i've been having an issue lately with my cpu overheating and turning off my computer. I first thought it was my gpu but after i got everest and watched my cpu temp jump when i turned on bc2, i knew what it was. So, i'm wondering what could be causing this odd overheating. I probably need some more fans but i just want to see what's a good type. I have a socket AM2 i think (it's an amd athlon 64 dual core) and i've got a pretty good side case, fits everything well, not a mini but not large either. Don't really want to go for the freon thing. My replacement for the time being is i have a fan on the side and my case open lol thats the only way i can keep it cool if i play a game, heck even a flash game made it go hot (Epoc on Newgrounds) that lets u know how hot it gets in my new place.

So, any tips now that i've written a journal entry about my issue.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

As a precautionary measure, you might want to re-apply thermal paste in addition to a fan upgrade.

lol, that's what I have to do. It looks so ghetto but works like a charm. Plus... somehow... it keeps my computers innards less dusty.

It's my gfx card that overheats and causes something I believe is called 'archiving' on my computer screen. I touch that thing and it's pretty fuckin hot. Can't leave my hand on it.

But yeah... box fan win. Plus the noise helps me sleep while I wait for my movie torrents to download.
