I couldn't find anything on exactly what he does and was planning a defensive company with him in it.

I used the search tool first

150mm barrage + Supervise for a +25% dmg./acc for a supervised unit.

Is that it? Wasn't sure if he had an aura or anything.

There is a doctrine upgrade that grants him an Aura. the area is kinda small but the bonus it conveys is pretty large. 25% acc./20% dmg(supervise)

Also it's an 81mm mortar barrage. takes a few seconds to come down but you can still catch people in it. Anything he kills with the barrage goes to his XP too which makes life a load easier.

Hmm, if I remember correctly, the aura gives a smaller bonus than the single target supervise. Unless they've changed that since I last used it.

The aura is +25% acc +10% damage IIRC.
