If you get engine damage the repair kit wont repair the crit. (i think is what he is saying)

It didn't have full hp then, because full hp always repairs the crits.

Cannot happen, period.

Sometimes a tank repairs to 99.9% hp and thus doesn't repair the crit.

what gg said. It happened to my Sherman. You just have to repair it sooner, more than likely, if you're getting hit after you get a crit, you're not going ot get that crit repaired.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

No.

Say your tank has 1000 hp, and you eat a sticky and that takes you down to 900 hp.

Then you take 300 more damage and have 600 hp, and now you decide to use a heavy repair kit(which repairs 600 hp).  Your tank will repair to full hp and the sticky crit will be repaired.

But if you took say, 550 more damage, and had only 350 hp left before you repaired, your tank will not fully repair.  Your repaired tank will have 950 hp and still have engine damage.

It's somewhat more complex than that but the that's the gist of it.

That's kind of silly, considering if any tank got engine damage you would want to repair that before armor. Maybe make it to where criticals are always repaired first when using a repair kit, your vehicle already is locked down and can't move or shoot while repairing so I don't see how this could be abused. But, with making repairs with infantry, they have to repair to full health before crits are fixed as to not abuse it by making 2 second repairs just to fix crits.

I know gameplay > realism for this game, but this seems extremely ridiculous to me.

It's a relic engine limitation.  I made a work around for it but it won't be implemented till later.

The slightly more detailed explanation, for those wondering, is that crits are repaired when the vehicle is repaired beyond the hp interval it was critted in. So if you're tank is in green health and gets engine damage critted, then it needs to be repaired to 100% to get its engine repaired. If it's already in yellow health when that engine damage hits, it only needs to be repaired to 40% to get into green health and get its engine back. Crits in red health are repaired pretty much immediately, since it only requires you to get into yellow health. So all in all, the thing to be aware of is the rare things that crit in green health, such as stickies and mines. If you've been stickied to engine damage in green, you want to make sure you repair while you still have enough hp to reach 100% after the repair.

2 things here.

#1: Crits are only repaired at 5%, 40% and 100% health.

#2: If you get stickied while still spawnbuffed, you can get engine damaged, but you take no damage. Which I think is what the complaint is?
