Or like, let's give the 20mm the puma gun so the guns actually have something in common?
Just like, you know, the 37mm gun on the pak 36 and the 37mm gun of the Ostwind?

Thanks. If that's the case then everything Mysthalin said about 85% accuracy, easy to maintain LoS and, at least, 1000 guaranteed damage should still hold true.

Time to grind and test.

It fires exactly like a stuh, so the shot doesn't track and takes a while to land, making it fairly worthless against fast moving targets.

I wonder if anyone's ever made it so all at does this? That way there's no weird tracking and moving target vs moving target battles are really hard. I think it may be possible unless there's a projectile speed limit because certain tanks would have to have faster projectile speeds and i think that could make all the differing tanks really unique as well because like a panther and p4 both have 75mm guns but the panthers has a higher velocity so it has a higher penetration, would love to see that represented in a mod. Does anyone know if this is possible?

you could do it.. but it would be really wierd.. hmm  right now if a tank hits the shot will track and hit. you would basically be making all hits MISS constantly, and just checking if they hit the hitbox or not if im noy mistaking.

that would be just bad for gameplay since stuff like blocking objects and hills will be in the way all the time. you can also no longer balance a unit the way you want because it's received accuracy == size + speed.

rifles will also NEVER hit, and when you set up an hmg often it will just shoot the ground.
micro will also become uber. people will be able to evade everything with a light vehicle if they  move it around right.
this is also because the guns shoot where the unit is, not where it will be once the bullet gets there.

i wouldn't change the rifles and stuff, just talking about at weapons. You could fix the evade by making it so u can only shoot if u stop or u have horrible accuracy on the move

yeah, not shooting on the move is much better for good gameplay/balance. and it wouldnt fix it.
