I have a few simple questions about his ability.

For the grenadier upgrade can still they have a lmg or schreck with this?

And for the sniper upgrade can the enemy still see the "unit sniped" marker when sniped? or is the silencer there just so it looks cooler?

There is no silencer. The enemy won't see the unti sniped message, neither is there a firing indicator.

The Sniper still decloaks however, but since there is no indicator or smoke trail, it makes it pretty hard for them to track.

Best used in a large fight with as much distractions as possible so the Allies don't know they are losing some men to your sniper.

Gunsound is the same as a G43. There is no white line.
KT or sniper depends on how you spent your advantages and the build of your company. You'd be the only person who'd know what you would prefer!

Or do what I did, and get both Smiley

In my opinion Terror are one of those companies that have too many unique units and abilities to consider an offmap as a viable option. Half the fun of Terror is the doctrinal abilities it offers (Geshutz, dual LMG's, ambulance), just like blitz with Tigers and Storms.

Though firestorm is an incredible offmap!

It's only as good as the player using it, and it needs to stay alive longer to have earnt its cost back on the battlefield due to lower critical chance. Lots of players tend to think it's better suited to larger maps where enemies will not notice the "Unit Sniped" notification. It's KIND of a tradeoff, just like normal puma vs upgunned puma. When stacked with Heavy Support t4 and a vet 3 sniper then it's just incredible.

The Benefit in EiR to not having the "Unit Sniped" message is that they can't track where your sniper goes.

Company of Heroes Online actually has a good implementation in the fact that the Unit Sniped message just shows you where he was when he fired, not where he ran to.

Alot of times the ToS sniper can just sit in an unusual place and pick people off. That is of course assuming you have the enemy occupied with something. Otherwise people generally look at their 'section' of the line
