the biggest issue with AB is AB w/ RR, not all these things you guys are talking about

The fact is that you can have AB w/ RR's, Easy company, raid, strafes, bombing runs and three more points for your Doctorine Specialization all at the same time.

One thing I never understood was that Henschel got nerfed, but Bombing run stayed similar. I reckon removing bombing runs and replacing them with another t3 for AB would be a viable option. Strafing runs seem more classical "airborne doctrine" to me, but that's just my opinion.

Spinn - the old Henschel was in a completely different league from ANY other offmap in the game. Not even the V1 could claim to be at all equal.

With it being nerfed - it's actually at about the same level as the bombing run.

Hold on why does AB need more unique units... Why not stormpios or something(4man pio squad that cloaks and gets flamthrower...) I mean really unless ab is way is to come for all doctrines then by all means make all units doctrine specific. Like botb!

oo my wehr units in FOF have a elite pio squad that is stormtroopers with a flamethrower, fun times!

Just some ideas I've been tooling over with Airborne, just curious how it would be received. Not really making a suggestion but just wonder if they would be considered OP.

I started thinking down this line because assault teams for infantry are so fail.

Airborne Engineers
4 man 4 pop
Airdroppable, can place mines and demo's, no gun upgrades, no flame thrower, can cut wire and build defenses.  
Not sure if giving it the hmg bunker makes sense.

Airborne Assault Teams
4 Men 6 pop
Comes with sprint instead of fire up.
Can be upgraded with Tommys or Flamethrower
Gains smoke grenade?

both can be a possible replacement as a T2 for either the sniper or the mines as the sniper some say is useless and the mines some say is op.

not saying need, just throwing stuff in there and wehr infantry are highly versatile unlike allied infantry which are usually one or the other and with disablers

Rifles are just as versatile, or more so. BAR > LMG damage, BAR has SF. They get grenades, and they get stickies. They also come with more mans so can recrew easier.

Allied infantry is just as versatile or more so.

Its SPECIALIST infantry that you keep comparing.

AB are more versatile than KCH. Stormies are the only one that has more options, but become very specialized and are very fragile. That would be the extent of Wehr special infantry.

Falls? and Storms are more deadly than AB but are better used for their cloak. They're just grenadiers that can cloak, if ur bold you can even use them just like grenadies and cloak for tactical uses.

Falls are PE, they are also super specialized and not great at what they do. FJ are aight, basically PGrens with Ambush.

The problem I see is things being designated "Elite" infantry. I'm all for standard armor and HP for basic mans =p

Falls were always fragile, its just they had so many combat buffs that infantry melted in front of them right out of ambush.

The easiest way is to make a AB armor and health ordinary.
Cuz they're humans.
Then give them the good weapons.
But no flamethrowers.
I think if you paradrop it you'll damage it.
So flamethrower supply drop.
50% blow up
and no bunker but hmg nest
you don't have the concrete
