C&C RA
When I played C&C (Tiberian Dawn) a couple of years later thought it was rubbish tbh.
The RA series was always the best, though it peaked with RA2 in my opinion.

there'd be no red alert without tiberian dawn. the story line is better in the tiberium series but the game-play better in the red alert cuz they always learned their mistakes gameplay wise from the tiberium games (TD - RA then TS then RA2 then C&C 3 then RA3 then C&C 4)
i'd play c&c 1 for hours though, the single player was awesome and then when the expansion came out ooo wee.
and red alert was the 1st game i ever modded, i can't even remember the name now but it was awesome, to me at least.
