there'd be no red alert without tiberian dawn. the story line is better in the tiberium series but the game-play better in the red alert cuz they always learned their mistakes gameplay wise from the tiberium games (TD - RA then TS then RA2 then C&C 3 then RA3 then C&C 4)
i'd play c&c 1 for hours though, the single player was awesome and then when the expansion came out ooo wee.
and red alert was the 1st game i ever modded, i can't even remember the name now but it was awesome, to me at least.
