If you have to hard-cap a unit it means the unit isn't balanced in it's cost in the first place, and you are just imposing an artificial means to make it look less OP than it really is.

piat jeeps lol horribly inaccurate and would just be fun to play with.

zook jeeps would be the most balanced, if they hit they pack a punch but you'd have to flank with them, not saying it wouldnt' be easy but you'd have to flank to really get any hits in, although i think zook jeeps would rape PE lol.

i'd like to see more captain and lt doc abilities tbh.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

I don't fully agree with that statement. Things can be balanced as long as they are limited, look at the king tiger. A company having one of them is fine as the enemy can counter it, but more is just gay. Soft-caps are an excellent way of balancing things, though if someone can effectively by pass it there is something wrong with "soft-cap" implementation not the idea behind it.

The King Tiger is fine alone, and it's fine when you have two of them. The only reason it was ever hard-capped is due to the flak recieved from the nerfing of the Jag - which is a retardedly efficient and powerful tank. If something is so efficient that it requires a hard-cap in order not to be spammed : it's not a balanced unit and requires nerfing. Same can be said of soft-caps : except that soft-caps don't kill customizability as much.
