In order to build elite infantry, we need more gold as british, but getting mines as british is so difficult.

Well british are gimped with mine usage. Only sappers with useless upgrade can place them. Could it be possible to buy at least 1 mine without getting demo specialists upgrade? That would make british less predictible and more fun to play.

Useless upgrade? You get mines, Democharges and a Minesweeper. All things considered it's a damn bargain.

The only drawback to me is that As soon as they see Minesweeper sappers they know demo's are down. I keep anywhere form 2-4 in my company for defensive missions though. I don't even mind paying the relatively high support cost of a sapper unit considering the Munitions I save

brn, you'd be one of a handful of players using Detection and Demolition sappers Smiley. I'd rather not have uniform teams, British have enough to immobilize enemy armour, the last thing they need is mines!

Yeah I've noticed I'm the only one ever on field with them. I even got asked what they were once.

They hold their own with the enfield though. I jumped in a trench in a hurry once and the sapper squad retreated with 1 man remaining and 12 kills to his name

Yes, the bundle is, all things considered, a bargain. But what if you have no NEED for either the demo charge or the minesweeper? Then it's nothing more than just dead weight that you actually have to pay for. What if you would rather combine the mine with a PIAT upgrade? What if you just want to have mines and nothing else? It's pigeon-holing the person buying the upgrade into buying the full package. And that's the reason why it's a "bargain".

they are effective in their own way but as several has said- they are nothing but dead weight once their equipment has been used. Its a 4 man minesweeper squad...the only thing left for it to do is cap after all stuff is gone. Not very good imo I did use one though...

Why do they have to buy mines as part of a package anyway?  American engineers aren't forced to buy mines, demos and minesweepers together.  You can have aggressive flametrhowers pioneers with mines, so why not piat sappers with too?  It makes for sense for them really since they are a more defensive, anti-vehicle ambushing unit.

it's been like that for the longest, never really been a problem and no ones brought it up 'til now cuz it is a bargain but you only get one mine one demo.

But mudkips does have a point, you can get flamers and mines and demos on pios and engineers, TD can put tellers on normal pz grens I'd like to see the upgrades split up, and btw, weren't all mine detectors supposed to come off normal engineer units like a loooong time ago?

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

why not make it an RE unlock, to give unlimited demos and mines, on a long cool down. it is representative of the real RE that do a lot of blowing things up. of cource then people would spam demo charges, so you could add a 30 sec timer to there explosion like a real fuse therefore only usefull for opening up routes through hedgrows, which brits need, and destroying unocupied buildings.

They also kept Tribalism for a pretty damn long time in human history - and nobody really complained about it. Until one day they up and decided furthering civilisation would be a good idea.

My point is - just because something has been like this for a long time doesn't mean it's actually good. Most likely the reason why nobody complained about the bundle is because they just couldn't be bothered to even try the bundle in the first place - it's just such a large munitions sink.
