The terror sniper is utter shit, It doesnt kill most of the time, it doesnt surpress. Sure it doesnt give a location when u kill...but it doesnt kill so who cares? and people can see it pop up on screen anyways. Its a totaly worthless unlock. Out of 23 shots, I got 3 kills. No surpression from any of the shots.

I suggest scrapping the whole not killing thing as part of its shooting and being nice and simple, make it an ordinary sniper, that can only use fallshrim cloak , so no moving furthermore the snipers cooldown should be increased by 30-50% ( dont have corsix atm cant check exact numbers. However give it range 80 and sprint, so its a marksman that will support your units with ultra long range fire.

thoughts? idea's?

Completely agree that he's shit. I've posted earlier about him being overpriced. This specific gripe has been pointed out internally, to no avail. Gamesguy unit!

I know im derailing my own thread but I really get the feeling you BA's dont get taken very seriously, just an impression I get from talking to you guys- you seem ( as a body) to disagree with how a lot of stuff is done, yet it is done anyways. oh well I guess.

On topic, while you agree the unit isnt good smokaz, do you have any idea's on how you would fix it?

I've suggested a fix: make it cheaper than the normal sniper. Right now its a bottom unlock, which means it doesnt need to be a buff, it can be a unlocked capability.

Right now its a downright nerf to the sniper to get this, and you pay for it! Woopeti shoopeti doo.

Yeah you'd expect a T3 would give you a unit a buff, not a nerf.

Marksman shot would be the only reason why I would even consider buying that shit. Even marksman shot isn't worth it.

EDIT: Perhaps getting rid of the terror sniper entirely and replacing it with something like... grenadiers can buy mp40s and/or fausts + marksman shot. I personally think that being able to buy grenadiers and upgrade them with marksman shot + fausts would be worth investing in. It would also make a worthy tier 4 because it's .... blobable but not OP. If anyone says it's op then I'll say shut up cuz airborne gets AW.

Because introducing something else that is overpowered is ok since another doctrine is?

Terror unit unlock....

MP44 purchasable on Grens for 45mu for 2 =)

Well I don't think that upgrading grenadiers with anything would be overpowered. I was just saying that even if it was, the allies have something way better. We both seem to be on the same page though because we're both thinking about purchasable weapon unlocks for infantry. That's what I'm pushing as well, but I do like the idea of marksman shot. IDK though I would be fine with just a simple weapon unlock like mp44 or panzerfaust.

MP44 Grens w/ Panzerfaust might make me want to use them again...

Till then, I will just keep using my Volks.

Yet again, Condor.

Search for the term "Tu Quoque".

Doesn't it make more sense to nerf something that is OP, rather than to overbuff everything that is currently balanced?

EDIT: What the fuck are you talking about? All I'm suggesting is that it would be a good idea to make a tier 4 worthy by providing something that terror players would want: unlockable weapons for infantry. That's it. I apologize for the comment but I just got frustrated.

What I am saying is that you don't get to say "it's OK if this T4 would be OP - since AW is also OP". It's a logical fallacy.

Fair enough.

BTW what about you? What do you think should happen to the terror sniper?

Simply make it an upgrade where the sniper doesn't decloak or give warnings if firing from cover. Sure, it'll make him switch weapons every time you pop his ability of "in-cover fire" and once it goes away and it'll look slightly wierd, but it should be both a fun and balanced ability.

It would only be a logical fallacy if he said "It's not OP since X is also OP". Saying it is only tolerable by comparison isn't in itself a fallacy.

I feel like the logic police around here lol.

but that's basically what he said?

He said "This would be OP, but so is AW" - which is literally more or less so what the explanation on the site gives.
