Just saw this new 1vs1 map for vCoH that won the map tournement, Egletons




Im thinking that this map looks pretty sweet and polished.
Could we get this turned into a 2vs2 in the same way that Semois was transformed into Neuville?

Transforming a 1v1 into a 4v4 would be pretty damn hard, I imagine - and pretty unrewarding, since 2v2s and 3v3s are both far more played.

Also, even though the steps are indeed beautiful - I'm afraid pathing in the middle of the town will be far from "beautiful".

 I agree, why bother with a 4v4 when it could be a great 2v2 map.

 Also I would imagine if it won the mapping contest the pathing is still pretty decent. Here's hoping anyways.

Mapping contests are about the macro side and the "it purty".

vCoH generally doesn't involve much vehicle micro for anyone to notice pathing attrocities.

I dont see any reason why he would refuse or even care since it is now supposed to be an official map like "Langres"
Player made, but relic property. No one would bitch if we modified langres for EIRR, this should be the same situation.

Wonder how would work, saw a couple replies of this map (GameReplays had a mini tournement) and from what I've seen, the map might be too small for a 2v2, although, nothing stopping us trying I guess Tongue

It looks way too small, you'd be across the map with spawn buffed units pretty easily.

Then just make it bigger?

IPFK took Semois and added extra map playability area to make a 1vs1 a 3vs3. It wont be a direct conversion of course.
