No flank speed though
there are only 7 vet 3 Pershings in the game atm

to the hmm 12 vet 3 Tigers

Lets face it, Axis tanks just rip up everything allied

As soon as something comes that even appears to be an equalizer, they just cry OP allied stuff gets nerfed Axis get another Direct Fire Nebel
+10000000000000000000000000000
Any thing allied gets torn up pretty badly pershings are like crocs
people think there OP so charge after them and eliminate them its a good tactic for allies aswell but you rarely get your stuff back anything allies is easily killed

Yeah calbanes, I mean - some people like smokaz are still yet to win a single game, even though they've been around here for years.

Interesting, no commented on the OP long range vet 2 Rifle sticky, which ought to be nerf batted.

All i want is my counter to the Pershing ie the Panther to have half a chance to nail the bloody thing (having presumably played the snipeing game 1st) without a Vet 2 sticky being lobbed from 3 hedgrows away & gimping all my hard work.

What I am atempting to say is the Pershing isnt the problem, its the lack of my counter unit being able to chase down & finish the damn thing b4  its fully rehealed without a sticky landing on me is the problem.

Put the shoe on the other foot, your Pershing has free rain to dart in finish its kill & retreat without fear of engine damage death.

Combine the above with some nicely tailored Pershing Doctrine buffs & even the Panther wont be a cost efficient counter.

I certainly hope their are a few axis armour Doctrine buffs which tailor nicely to anti Pershing duty, in much the same way as i notice the Armour tree specifically buffing damage vs Tigers, KTs etc.. (do they really need buffing vs Tigers I thought a Pershing would own that particular matchup hands down).

I suppose insult isnt matched to injury though as at least the buff doesn't mention Panthers, which wouldve lead me down the path of what exactly is the cost effective counter to the Pershing.

If it was OP, then how come the Axis Super Tank vet 3's are far more Numerous then the Allied Super Tank.

Armor doctorine also has calliope so add in that + pershing and see how many vet leaderboard tanks there are for armor.
Theres no problem with stickys or either pershing.

Calliope has a completly different roll then the pershing.

And there is something wrong with the pershing, its a glorified panther with splash and no speed, nothing more and nothing less

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Urban survival kit pershing with avre ability even on 2x long cooldown is a bit overpowered i believe. Stuh shells are enough for indirect fighting in urban enviroment or atg clearing. Avre is just overkil.

Defensive t1 artilery tree Munitions HT is it upgrade for wher halftrack or something else?

"L2P" is like a Auswitcz tattoo on your arm, a mark of the survivor.
*cough* Team Lead is Allied bias, just FYI

Yeah, i agree. Now if it ignored soldier armor that would be sweet, or even a flamer like crit vs elite armor.

That's exactly what it does. Read the draft it says "Elite Armors" There wasn't enough space to list all the armor types. It basically makes all armor types as if it was shooting at normal Infantry armor. The reason why I didn't write no penalties is because Stens normally have penalties against Infantry Armor.

Understanding wording is very important when reading something. AVRE Like does not mean AVRE. Anyways, if you look at the current Armor doctrine you will see that the Pershing has had that ability for quite sometime now.

Ill be releasing the next 4 drafts on Friday and there will be another discussion on the exact same time this Saturday.

ahh okay, nice. will be interesting to see if that makes much of a difference as usually you dont allow LT's to engage in battle.

You might not. I use LTs to hunt mortar/minesweeper teams all the time. It's good fun, rather like a British Rambo film.

Unless your fighting KCH all the time I don't see how lieutenants would have anymore combat strength than normal.

Elite Armor is not a critical type.

You said it'd also be better versus PE.

Don't underestimate the lieutenant man - and especially not with that T4 he can also get ^^.

Of course, it's up to you - I know I'll be trying out a lieut spam coy.

And captain with officer lugers and fast FOO spam. Oh the hilarity that I will enjoy. RCA is officially my favorite doctrine to abuse again!

Even if Lieutnant can be good vs infantry now they still wont beat a Assault grenadier squad, unless...hmm Brenguncarrier and officer...

Because a forum post should be like a woman's skirt. Long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.
