Yes? it's too abusable on some maps. on tanteville a spawn buffed ostwind can just barge into the city via the middle road taking atg shots etc without taking damage and munch your inf.

 It was the outskirts of the city about 1-11/2 screen distance from my span, and it was a lightning war ostwind.

 Not really that ridiculous.

 Besides there shouldnt be balance suggestion posts made right after a game.

Try like 3 of them, i saw three with that doct on come into a defensive area and wipe out 2 allied players units on field, 3 ATGs, about 6 squads of inf, and some motars and hmgs.. without any damage to the osts.. it was rather GAY..

Spawnbuff probably just needs to go down in timer anyway. It serves it's initial purpose of preventing mine camp/ you could shave 5 or even 10 seconds off and not notice.

Its not a balance suggestion.  The point is to which extent lightning war and perhaps other fast moving units from spawn can employ the intended spawn buff mechanic outside of the actual spawn.

We can just make a requirement for Spawn buff that requires you to be in the HQ sector for it to be active.

Think of pumas...  Some sectors are very big...  If your agressive player and your trying to chase down units running their spawn you pull back because Roads + P4s, Panthers, pumas are devistating....

Exactly why instead of just having a timer on spawn buff we should have a requirement for being in the HQ sector.

Timer should still be important, otherwise you'd have people delegating, per say, an upgun puma to defend any repairing tanks within the HQ sector(not all the time, but for durations of repair).

Overall, I think spawn buff requires an overall nerf in general.

Spawn buff is still going to have its timer, but it will also have the requirement of only being active in the HQ sector. Once you leave it, you lose your spawn buff. So you cant change into the center of the map with spawn buff, but your still able to fight off people actually in your spawn.
