The T-17's in that game were easy to keep at bay with Hetzers. The Double calliope forced alot of Repair and attrition damage. The Calliope's actually did more but didn't get the credit. Even killing them hurt my tanks alot and my allies lost a bunch of stuff.
The 5 Mortar HT followup was priceless though.

Well, sweeper dies trying to sweep the fire mines. Tankflail doesn't work (hence the video up in another thread.

Seriously, just walk 2 rifles through the minefield. You'll lose most the rifles but fuck it you should have a billion more - they're fucking riflemen

I don't find the minefield too big of a deal. The mineflails and minplows do need to be fixed so the slow mine doesn't effect the tank. Other then that I don't see a real problem with the minefields other then being an annoyance. On the other hand ia is just op.

The Minefields are fine, they do their job perfectly(aside form slow mines affecting tanks like you mentioned)
It's a wall of mines covered by fire which people don't like. There is a good chance that mines in real life are covered by fire.
The combination of having to advance cautiously through mines and IA is what sends people over the edge. It'll be of no concern in a few weeks time, cause we'll find other broken shit.

i did make a PE company, all i had was like 8 of them HT with minefields, like 15 grens wtih nades and 50mm and mardars..
then i looked at it and was like, this is silly, screw that, too much spam.. and deleted it.

I can understand the hate of Inc Assault, just like I can understand the hate of Fire Up. It is very much one and the same.
However the moaning about mines is silly. This adds great gameplay to EIRR. Its a good approximation of Real Tactics yet in a fun game.
Allies have loads of counters: -mine flails -mine ploughs -Minesweepers -Riflemen (cannon fodder)
This adds a great new dynamic to game play. Obstacle clearance under fire its awesome. Please do not nerf this.
I think Brits should have their own Mine Clearance systems but hey allies have to adapt . Its good for the game.

So your left with fragile minesweepers who cannot be screened (screening would require venturing into the minefield) and cannonfodder rifles, which is not a solution unless your desperate.

not entirely true. you do mortar smoke and then sweep. over at omg with 3 pop minesweepers, they do it all the time.
Besides, it might be the mark of the flexible player to just grab more than 1 sweeper in his core or in his callins when he knows hes facing this type of bull
not much different to grabbing as many snipers as possible attacking lai and boobaka on RTC with them running double grenspam + kt
Back in the day bro. no way you were contending with normal companies against leaf and puddin running double subversion etc.
gimmick has a history! believe that.

Barrage the fucking minefield! You hit 1 firecracker mine and you probably detonate 4. you spot mines with Minesweepers and then Barrage them. it's a total of 5 pop to do that and the Minesweeper is 0 Pool

i played this and didn't really have much problem...light vehicle to take out grens, at gun for marders and a mortar or some t ype of arty to take out mine field, i even frustrated sx23 enough that he just ignored me and went off somewhere else.
