Their target priority was to secure and hold the town of Abbeville and the Mayor's Chateau. Only did they not realize was the fact that Wehrmacht had deployed Volksgrenadier Regiment consisting of massive ammount of recruits, a Heavy Tiger Kampfgruppe and a Waffen SS division.
The two clashed together in the middle of Abbeville while the SS forces fought more independantly on the Chataeu's side. SS Panzer Division's main objective was to secure the Chataeu and execute the Mayor for owning a schemetics of Apex's Super armored Steel wall StuGs and whatsoever.
The campaign lasted for an hour leaving Abbeville nothing but a burning ruins of wreckage and dead infantry.
