I can't tell what people mean in the US half the time, they say College when they mean University and they say University when they mean College. Then they say Higher Education just to confuse you.
It's degrading to the person and the school when they say "I went to College at Harvard"
Also on a semi related note, The legal Drinking age in the US is stupidly high. The reason excess drinking is such an issue in North America is because it's taboo. I think I had my first drink at age 8 and always grew up in a home where it was allowed responsibly. At least here in Canada the drinking age is 18/19 across all provinces.
Sure one generation would get pretty fucked up but it would right itself in the long run, which is better that many generations getting fucked up.
Anything taboo is more fun to do, thats why the Catholic church is failing so hardcore with abstinence(and failing so hard with pedophilia)
Unfortunately the "Your parents do it" method doesn't work with making booze un-cool.
Still beats the shit out of Libya I guess

Wasn't my idea or on purpose. I hated the taste of it(Beer) shit I still hate beer. I'm a light drinking anyway, I'll drink maybe once a month usually less. With the holiday season fast approaching though I expect that to climb higher then usual

Yeah I drank alot in school. Played alot of Poker and hit casino's too. It was living to that excess that brought me to moderation. I had a great time don't get me wrong but it's distracting.
