the boys AT rifle flies trough a vehicle when it scores a miss. This makes it very weak because it relies, just as the RR on low scatter instead of good accuracy.
this can be fixed by setting the boys at rifle's projectile_ext\collision_type to type_projectile_collision\tp_homing_inf.lua

So, its a bug cuz it acts like the RR? It's a high speed AT weapon just like the RR...its no bug.

No, it is a bug and it's already been addressed for the Rework. the Boys AT as a weapon is going to overhauled.
The only thing the Boys AT can kill is light vehicles and it does no good when it phasing them.

is thier anychance of giving boys at rifles a similar effect to tread damage ?
so that it mayb take off .2 speed off a treaded vech ?
Button is really only effective on MMG's

you could put an ability that additive subtracts .02 from movement, but the Boyz AT wasn't really a 'slow' down weapon like a engine damaging explosive

boys AT does 2.5 less damage vs buildings than RR. not bad, but since it is a small bullet you are firing and not some rocket thing it just looks weird it does so much dmg.

Actually, they do pretty decent DPS to medium armor as well...which is sad for the P4...

yeah, thats coz of the 0.15 deflection dmg. when spammed its still a lot of dmg.
