It's not supposed to get it.

If it did, then P4s would deff. have no chance vs. the Jumbo and even panthers would have a run for their money.

yes there was. they converted several of the 254 Jumbo conversion into 76mm upguns. But the Added weight on the jumbo already caused engine issues and the heavier gun mount didn't help there either.

Thats the improved suspension Sherman. Jumbo is a different thing.

The Term "Jumbo" was actually acquired Post war. it was just the M4A3E2

The M4A3E8 Easy Eight is just an M4A3 Sherman with HVSS (horizontal volute spring suspension), as opposed to VVSS (vertical volute spring suspension). The armour, armament, etc. are all the same.

No , no more units pls....

reward units should be as far as it goes.

Do not give every unit to every faction or soon we will loose diversity and everyone will be the same with just different skin on it.

The first vcoh and eir was most diverse because amer and wehr were totally unique and had different gameplay styles , now that is more and more diminishing.

I would even remove some of the not realy needed units and bring back more diversity... but that's just me.

what brn said, it's no more unique when everyone got the same stuff

'New units' brake meta gameplay , for example giving more heavy tanks to allies as axis are supposed to have heavy tanks ( atleast that's what original vcoh devs had in mind).

There is a thin line in making a working mod, and totaly braking the gameplay with 'new units' that made vcoh.

Sometimes less is better as opposed to adding constant new crap ( hint hint ,look other mod)

'New units' would be OK only if they would go with the gameplay of the faction, light fast tank hunter like m10 for armor for example , and heavy tanks for axis, but then again , why add more of the same units if they make the same role ? just to have different skin?
see my point ?

yeh but my point is that their are alot of units and weapons out their the the Vcoh devs didtn include
that if introoduce would fill in gaps and such for factions, without just being destinct mirrors

Factions are supposed to have Gaps. Like the Brits get completely destroyed by Snipers.

What brn said, we don't want all factions to become mirror matched in terms of unit variety and roles.

That's not to say there won't be certain doctrines that offer units that can fill the gaps, or reward units that fill gaps, but there are no plans to just throw in new 'base units' for existing factions if these existing factions don't have any serious design flaws that undermine their functioning in EIR. (see vCOH PE, before we made some fundamental changes)

Which units are you referring to? I think all 4 factions still play out quite differently, personally.

Which units are you referring to? I think all 4 factions still play out quite differently, personally.

To name a few they would be the m18 which is practicaly the m10 (might aswell give the m10 the m18 mine)  ,  t17 that broke the allied role of sherman croc by giving them light ostwind and geshutzwagen thats a wehr marder which is not needed as wehr got paks.

They play differently , but by giving 1-2 units like this to almost all factions some elements of one faction can be found in another faction.
We have to avoid things like this or one day there will be so many 'new units' that every faction will be the same.
