Hello there.

I'm afraid i'd like some help with my Commando company that i enjoy using in most games.

I find i uassly get alot of loss's and seem to have little troops due to the fact that commandos eat up infantry pool along with paits. And maybe the units i have just don't work.

Anyway heres the list of everything.

First call in squad.
2x commando squads (stens, grenades)
2x Piat Commandos
1x HMG

Everything else is single call ins.

4x Commando sqauds (stens grenades)
2x Infantry sections (rifle greaneds, 1x CCS)
1x commando sniper
2x Commando pait squads
2x Commando mortor
1x commando HMG
2x Jeeps
2x Fireflys (2x repairs)
1x Cromwell command tank
2x tetrarchs
2x Staghounds
1x 25 pounder

Any help with inproving it would be gratfull Cheesy

And no funny comments with my battalion choice Cheesy

this is a level 6 company but mostly hasn't changed since creation at level 5.


leaves me with like 25 manpower, 10 ammo, 10 fuel, and 0 reserves in pool

no PPs at all... im within all my reserve pools still.. i'll check it to make sure i wrote from memory!

also its with 1 in manpower, 2 in ammo

most important doctrine ability is the -25% call in timers on the top tier imo...

Just a question, theres a doctrine that says captain and LT get a medi pack. Is that for there own use or does it pass on to units around them. Theres alot of occasions that my units need healed. as im sure alot of peoples do lol.

It grants the Medkits to the officers. so they can heal up quicker.

The thing with a commando company is that you shouldn't overdo their presence. The spam isn't that good. Mixed in with regular british forces they do much better. Need a MG killed in the open? Kill it with a commando smoke "flank" or a grenade. Know that there's a unsupported hummel in the back? Drop that tetrarch and put some pressure on it. The big balls of commandos and tetrarchs aren't neccessarily as good - as their investment suggests - WHEN - used in big groups. But their singular functions are good. The jeep is a amazing addition to british who are weak to snipers for instance, and you can drop a buttload of them from a unexpected direction to get the drop on the sniper.

Its a reoccuring theme that commando units are good at "duel" type of engagements. A upgunned tetrarch is good at dueling slow and clumsy armor. A commando squad with smoke available will just walk over most other infantry squad without effort in a mano-e-mano type of fight.(1v1)

stuff that commandos should stay away from: vehicles and fallschirmjagers. everything else is situationally, up for grabs.
