another thing btw: v1 recharge is about 10 minutes. lancaster bomb run recharge = 0.

Aha oh man I remember that match, in all due respect, I didn't expect to kill all that much besides a couple of AT HT's that I had line of sight on, when I heard I killed much more in the Fog of War I pretty much just laughed until I cried.
I think it had to be somewhat your fault, all those vehicles had to be clustered around that one building near the Hangar on Metz in order to get it.
Don't forget, they can, and have been shot down before, I tried to bomb a Morka's Flak 88 and it got shot down and crashed behind it.

I don't see how people are shooting them down, somebody flew a Lancaster STRAIGHT at my idle 88 and it didn't even aim before, when minutes ago it shot down a recon plane while it had other targets. And when I say straight at my 88, I mean in the way the gun was already pointing, and all the way from their spawn too.

It's really all about luck/chance. Sometimes it does shoot down planes, sometimes it doesn't. Weird, but I think that must be the only way it works O.o |

Also, I think it depends on Line of Sight increasing your chances of hitting what you want to hit. |
