panthers aren't dedicated AT, cuz they get a 60% chance to kill infantry, while the wirbel can't penetrate armor, huge difference. Just cuz it doesn't have splash damage, doesn't mean it can't take out infantry much better than a wirbel can vehicles.

It's kind of a cross between a tank destroyer and a heavy tank, it has great armor but not a lot of health compared to heavy tanks. It rapes tanks but it can also kill infantry.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

So what, the problem is that the wirbel is getting a half-assed buff to a area of it's use that isn't good to begin with.

The penetration for both the flakvierling and the wirbel would have to be significantly higher for it to matter.

Penetration deflection modifier could help it.

Otherwise I think damage vs supressed or pinned targets is a obvious choice for a wirbelwind buff.

The 25pdr scatter was nearly double the 105 in every area. infact you could unlock every single buff in RCA and your gun would still be worse then a 105 in every single way except for +25% suppression(useless) and Creepnig Barrage.

With this change Your 25 will actually see buffs

I never have this issue. I do very well with 25's. I have more issues with the scatter from 105s than from 25s

Makes sense. Or maybe a lower chance to suppress so you can do more damage. like the flakverling weapon is nearly the same as the wirbel, except the wirbel suppresses its targets while the flak doesnt.

You can call it low velocity rounds. It increase the accuracy while lowering suppression

Why would you call it low velocity rounds? That name is silly =p

Also guys, we're talking about a t2 buff here. We don't need a radical change to the Wirbelwind, just some kind of small buff to it.

Edit: Wait what, my brain must not have been working right there. I blame lack of sleep! I don't know why I thought this was a t2 buff. It's actually part of a t4 buff. Still don't need to be radical with the wirbelwind, just give it a useful stat buff. How about +50% deceleration?

yeh low velocity is something totally different,
experienced targeting, enhanced optics, even focused fire would do

Low velocity would make it less accurate...

Increase RoF and Reload? =)

I meant low velocity kinda like focus fire for heavy support. you slow down the rate of fire, you can control the gun better, and you hit more often.

Velocity has nothing to do with rate of fire.

He never said it does, he said it had to do with accuracy

Looks like he's referring to rate of fire to me.

yeh
heres an example
the 75mm gun on the IST is a low velocity gun- SHort barrel means less velocity of projectile, shell dont penetrate ground and explode
75mm gun on Panther is a High velocity gun- its shell would penetrate the ground a meter then explode

but i guess the proposal is a lock down ability for OST to give it increased acc

Indeed the +33% pen buff for the Wirbelwind is something that's almost absolutely of no use, especially as a t4. As AmPm suggested, either a reload/fire buff would be more suitable.
