Firefly gun is SIGNIFICANTLY better than the Marder gun, and the chassis is more or less similar in game terms. There would be no reason for it to cost the same.
Protip: M10 is an anti-tank gun mounted on a Sherman chassis with a new turret.

I think we'd want to avoid matching factional weapons to their own armor. That leads to some really wonky penetration modifiers and dmg modifiers.
There is a PzkfwIII in the works over at RN. So we will eventually have a model.
So long as the DPS and HP match up accordingly to the specifications of a "Medium Tank" I think we can get away with a fast firing, fast moving, somewhat lower penetration, rendition of the PzkfwIII as the PE MBT.
It would function kind of how the LJ tetrarch has the ability to go toe to toe with a panther. Chip away damage, and hard to hit.
We could pilot the idea with one of the new P4 models that have recently surfaced over on RN.

it should be a m10 imo - weak armor , 400hp , fast , good pen and dmg
plus tetrach is not a medium tank

I'd much rather a Firefly or M10 than Tetrach, considering PE already has its own version of the Tet (50mm Hotch).

You misintrepreted my statement. I only specified that is how the gun would likely function to an extent. Not that we'd be giving the PE a tetrarch.
Also, there's no justification for a carbon copy of the Wehr P4 to suddenly function as a firefly or an M10. You'll just confuse new players.

firefly not because panther is alraedy in. m10 is the only viable and usefull option for PE.
No one is gonna use tetrach in PE, hotches fail pretty much now.

It's damn expensive to pay MU and FU for an atg.
you must be out yer damn mind. First off, a 50mm also qualifies as an AT option. Second, PE AT is much faster than any other faction. Third, they have by far the most effective clowncars. Fourth, They have access to a jagd doctrinally. Fifth, people need to stop trying to mirror balance the game, PE are not supposed to have a main battle tank, an mg, a slow moving ATG, its not how the faction is designed or meant to be played. If you give them these things, they will turn into a massively OP faction, instead of relatively balanced with strengths and weaknesses they have now...there is no need to fill every weakness a faction has thru adding of new units, otherwise we might as well just make one faction and let everyone play it against each other.

Did you see anybody suggesting to fill every gap PE has? No? I didn't think so. People were suggesting to fill one gap PE has, an MBT, as a solution to another problem of PE, that is inefficient AT. PE AT is by far the most mobile but it pays for it in combat efficiency, as it costs more while being less survivable and having a lower DPS than the AT options of other factions.

1) 50mm is an expensive at option because you pay MU and FU.
2) As it should be becasue all PE is mobile
3) clowncars does not count as ATG because you have to buy INF and shreks - your point is invalid
4) jagd is 1 doctrine last tier -invalid
5) PE is the only faction that does not have a medium tank with AT capability ,it only have ist. having 1 faction NOT having an AT option is not mirroring but filling the UP hole.

Basing it on the m10 isn't such a great idea. The axis m10 will be ganked in seconds if it tries to roadrally allied infantry because of stickies and button. Also the m10 is so great because of its more than average penetration versus everything. Allied tanks survive through health and mobility so they would just slug it / mobility compete vs a axis m10. Axis tanks survive through their armor, that's why the american m10 is so good with its rape gun and 45 range.

PE is a faction full of highly effective, highly limited, highly fragile units requiring combined arms and good micro and not one unit do it all type units like Americans or Wehr or Brits. Giving PE a MBT just fills one of their holes and turns it into an OP force because of the effectiveness of the other units it can bring to the table to back it up. With a MBT, the fragility, the limited roles, and the high effectiveness are all negated. It just does not fit the faction...

1)i dont have 9 in my company but 6 and for the 7th i have to pay PP if i want to have it
3) I'm not ignoring but remove other AT capabilities and leave just clowncar with shreks and inf and lets see who will play PE.
4) Don't count doctrines into basic gameplay
5) Yes it needs one, most PE players says it does
