tbh i would take a riflenade over mp44 for my panzer grens. Riflenade is always better no matter the distance because :

when you fight at long range , mp44 are useless and kar makes not so much damage over period of time to tommies. It require 2 rifle shots of nades to effectively drop health of pgs.

In close range i have to move up , while riflenades just stand and shoot at me.

Not mentioning that riflenades can shoot over hedges, clearing out garrisoned building.

(inb4 allied defend boys squadron)

only problem on falls rifle nades are that thay are quite inacurate compared to brit ones...they are ok,but with fg42 they do much more...but that's just my point of view...

should be quite oppsosite.. allies have bigger squads and less HP = easier to kill.

You mean just like your Assault Grenadiers are rape against British infantry? You said it yourself that your AGs usually kill Tommies in 5 seconds.

but to attack, as demonstrated on video , my mp44s are half-dead by the time they get close , and shield smoke made tommies half-invunerable.

That's because your video shows a one-off event. I can provide a video of a pershing getting killed by a bike.

Riflegrenades are notoriously inaccurate, and BASIC zig-zag movements will ensure that the riflegrenades can only hope to hit once every 20 shots.

especialy for you mysthalin , i will make videos from my 5 next games , of mp44s vs riflenades (that popsmoke) and we will count how many times , pgs with p44s and riflenades won, and i will be zig-zagging.

(note , zig-zagging increases the distance of how pgs have to travel to get close)

Just tried it with MP40 volks, got in close, hit stop, let them shoot.

Didn't hurt the Tommies, Volks got raped.

Oh, by the by, in your video we can see your 6 assault grenadier guys, of which 2 were standing at MP44 medium range, destroy one of the vet 2 squads and a lieutenant before being forced off-field. Considering that was also happening under smoke, it's pretty damn good.

hehe good one , i have t4 +25% accuracy.

Just look at what AmPm wrote , he got utterly destroyed without acc buff like me.

Which again brings up the doctrine does not play role in the balance.

Hehe, vet 2 is 1.15 acc and the lieutenant is a further 1.25

Ending at 1.4375.

And 1.4375 > 1.25

why are you changing the topic now to riflenade accuracy? when we were discussing the pgs ability to hit riflenades in smoke?
Give the pgs a portable plasma shield and we can discuss accuracy of both of them in smoke when it is on e-q-u-a-l terms.

The fact is , that without the pop smoke , this matchup of half hp pgs with mp44 and vet 2 tommies with my t4 , would leave both squads dead at the moment i got close without me have to retreat any of my squads  ,and it should be like this, not the other way around. Because mp44 is a close range weapon , and riflenade which you say has horrible scatter should not kill them up close.
Looks like the scatter is not so horrible after all.

You think that your 430 manpower 190 munitions vet 0 units should tear through 665 manpower 180 munitions vet 2 units without any problem whatsoever? Because that's what it sounds like you're complaining about. Smoke also negatively affects the tommy rifles too, meaning their only damage output is the riflenades which are entirely dependent on A: You standing still in a tight formation and B: Luck to hit.

Look closely  they are vet 1.

And yes , even vet 0 mp44s own riflenades without smoke when they are up their face , they can take damage while they are running in towards them. But once they are close , they will tear apart the riflenades.

No , because nade makes splash damage when it hits the ground. and bullets from mp44 are sucked in into smoke vortex.

Those were two mid-sized, vet 2 Tommie squads, and a Lieutenant, against nugnugx's two slightly injured, vet 1 MP44s.

The Tommies fought those MP44s well, and they deserved to win, I think, because they were the stronger force. Could the result be any more clear, or are we still up in smoke about it?

I think that even without smoke, the Tommies would have won anyway.
