again, i cnat spell (for you coming fro mnteh marder 3 post, thsi is the only 2 things im goingot bitc--yell about)

anyway. my rangers cost mroe man power and munition then the fallies. my rangers should be able to kill 1.5 squads of fallies if you look at it recource wise. i dont knwo if thier docts amek them mroe OP or waht. jsut bringing it up.

and they para in, while my rangers walk.....

It is all about how you micro your soldiers kainhall. If falls are waiting in cover and you run too them you lose. If falls run to you and you wait in cover you win.

Resources don't mean everything, properly used cheap units can beat more expensive units.
In the end, micro plays a huge role. It's all about how you use your units, not just in EIR but also in vCOH. Just because your unit was more expensive doesn't automatically mean it will beat all cheaper units. (Unlike in some other RTS)

technically straight up no-cover, toe to toe the rangers will beat the falls everytime.

But thats not what falls are for. They get camo and ambush, crazy cover bonuses and thats where he is beating you.

Find out ways to get them out of that cover, or get the cover out from under them.

unless they are in cover or u start running away.
they are in no way op atm they can actually compete with elite infantry to a degree.

suppression fire with the +33 damage when there suppressed. complealty fogot i had thsi doc unlock. CLOSE AND SPERY the SMG way!!!!! thats what joged my mind.

and i still think the recources not mattering is bull. a 4 mroe PE squads fights like my 6 mans. but when they lsoe one man their firepower drops perty good. 4 man fallies are scary, 3 man fallies are fail.

still, i cna get 2 rangers will full package, about 6 to 8 bar rifles with half of them having stickys and a few (3 to 5) non upgraded rifles. 3 AT guns with AP rounds. 5 m10s, m3 quad, 105.
along with a HMG and a mortor and a few jeeps

i still find my self being swarmed by fallies with the FG42s. everythign i think its over. havign a kill rate of 2 squads to 1.25 of mine i lose becasue tehy still have elite inf with FG42's.
making them cost more would make them have to get rid of a few squads and but normal volks. volks can be a pain, but fall to the suppression and +33.

if i spend 500 man 310 muni on a squad i want them to kill teh same amount of their inf before they get wiped out. thsi is ballance. havign hte recources not mean anything is not ballance. my bar upgrade costs 80 muni (i think) how mutch does the fallies fg42 cost? should be about 5 less becasue they dont get the suppression fire.


i mod for men fo war becasue sertain mod are unballanced liek taht. a panther costs 100 but a sherman costs 90 and you need 4 75mm shermans to take out a panther uwith a straight rush, but only one if you get a lucky flank.
 i dotn knwo how to mod for COH but i guess i will start to learn.

Units are worth more than their cost if they are used well. This is exactly what you're experiencing here. SMGs charging Falls at cover will lose, Falls charging SMGs will REALLY lose. If you guys are both just sitting out in the open, SMGs will definitely win.

Falls are actually terribly weak for their cost trying to charge infantry in cover, the only way they are useful is through waiting for units to charge them in cover. So they must be damn good at it.

Also Rangers cost 380 mp 180 mu for Tommy guns, not near 500 310 like you say. With full package 230, however full package has no difference on anything because those last 50 munitions are for anti-tank. Fallschirmjagers cost 250 manpower, FG42s cost 120 munitions.

See, there is the problem.

You don't have a clue.

Rangers + full package = AT and AI in one, you pay a premium to do that.

Save some Mu and just buy the SMGs and a grenade, instant win vs FJ.

Why do you only have 1 HMG and 1 Mortar?

Also, a PE Gren squad costs more than your Rifles, so they better fight just as well or better.

To sum it up; Yes, your Rangers with everything will cost more than the FJ who only have FG42, and yes, your Rangers will lose to a dedicated AI platform like that unless you use a grenade.

They damage infantry but it's average 1 damage per burn instead of average 12.5 compared with incendiary grenades. Kinda sad. Lasts forever though, hence anti-building I guess.

must use cover.. i am bad on this, i still plop my dudes in a open field and try to attack others who are in cover and get raped...

other nice i had 2 smg rangers squads, regular ranger wtih zooks and 1 officer wipe out 3 kch and 1 storms with mp44s.  I lost the zook rangers and 4 men out of 1 rangers and 1 man out of another rangers.. the officer didnt get touched, but he seemed to help alot.. he was kinda runing around the kch on his own too, was rather funny to watch.
