It drops a bunch of Vehicle slow mines and a Bunch of Anti-infantry mines. The slow mines stack on vehicles and leaves them easy targets for AT support. and the Anti infantry mines are Firecrackers. They pin and burn the area.
Saturation minefields are the best investment for slowing someones progress down

They are amazing and definitely worth it. I'd still buy it even if they bumped the price 60 munis...

they can be horribly effective if you have them covered by some AI like snipers or mg but if you don't, then they are the viscus pray of the minesweeper.

ah it wasnt so much that I need goliaths, its that blow the bridges buffs all types of mines...im just trying to figure out a balance to include them all in order to maximise the t4 benefits...having 3/5 things buffed by the t4 on the munition halftrack would have made my life simpler.

Blow the Bridges doesn't affect the minefield.

its pretty damn cool, i played a game a while back where somebody started with like 5 or so HT with the mines in them.. layed them all along one area of the map... and it was even cooler when i landed a bunch of AB and AB rilfes, motar, 57mm and hmg on it..

it says it makes firecrackers better.... +1m radius and 33% more damage, and 50% build time reduction?... or does that not work at all? ;(
are the other mine options for the munition halftrack, the m8 mines effected by blow the bridges?

It works on everything except the minefield because that one spawns special mines.

they cant blow themselves up because detected mines cant be set off.

You can throw a Grenade or drop a mortar round on the Minefield to guarantee you'll set it off. Chances are you can set off 60% of the minefield with a single explosion given how it drifts(looking into changing that) I try not to use Minesweepers for Clearing a Saturation Minefield but rather for crossing it. Your units don't set off detected mines. Once your troops are across it they can be the screen for the minesweepers which can then safely clear the field.
Of course if my enemy were to actually set off the minefield I'd be fucked.
