WildZontar (the OP of this thread) is a primarily Allied player, and Mysthalin is usually fairly unbiased in terms of factions or doctrines. Not to mention the various other players that have put in their 2¢ on the issue. So no, this place isn't some sort of pro-Axis whorehouse.

Still getting raped as PE carrott? is that why your asking for all allied stuff to be nerfed?
Glad to hear your concern over my well-being, but I'd say I'm doing fine as PE. Jut calling out the bullshit as I see it.

I never said it was a pro-Axis whorehouse, just that the type of thread this is entirely inviting bias and hence I've avoided it. I haven't actually even read the thread other than the first page and this page.

STUGS are tank destroyers? LMAO

Yes? 4-shots M10s, 5 shots Shermans, decent penetration versus Churchils as well. Pershings will murder you, but hey - send some volks with the StuG and the threat of 3x fausts being volley-fired at the pershing gets the damn bugger to piss off.

Not to mention that murderous machine gun that allows it to crush better then an m10, or just pin and let mp40 volks mop up

Except that a tank that gets an engine crit in the middle of Allied lines is fucked, through and through.

What if you get an Engine Destroyed or immobilized crit, or don't have a repair kit left to heal? Have fun with your useless crawling hunk of scrap. Attempting to run over a Bren or Rifle squad is never worth it.

I'll trade you a Nebel for your 25 lbr, they're about the same cost anyways.
While you're Nebel is busy suppressing a single infantry squad or tickling my support weapons, I'll be busy 1-shotting the shit out of everything you have.

I can tell you don't play Brits from this post... ever.

The nebel is a fantastic piece of artillery.

There is a reason you see so many of them, and so few 25pdrs.

I dare you to play with a 25pdr for 15 games and get back to me on how good you think it is hehe.

Carrot your starting to get annoying with your whining. Why the hell would you have a tank ALONE behind enemy lines and expect anything more then getting raped.

Stop being stupid, learn to micro your tanks better, support them and you will realize that button and stickies ain't that OP, but a tactical inconveniance

so, what shall allied rifles get as their AT choice?

if sticky is so bad and game changing, can you just give them zooks in place instead of a doct choice, maybe move stickies to the T3 doct choice?

Thats the point, stickies are NOT so bad, you just get tards like carrot thinking they can just rush a p4 or panther alone into an allied position without getting spanked.

Then they whine for hours over how hacks it was, while somone like AMPM will look at the Stug and go OOOoh powerslide, and you might get off the sticky but not before he rolls over 3 squads of rilemen.

Now lets do the math there

3 squads of riflemen

approx 400 mp and 180 muni (not counting if they are packing bars)

for that 30 muni repair kit on the stug

And thats IF the sticky does the engine crit, which is no longer a 100% chance since they nerfed it.

Heavies in the green can take like 6 stickies before the damn crit fires off.

Now we're getting into theorycrafting here, you assume that every StuG is going to be able to crush 3 squads of riflemen before getting stickied once. And then that the StuG is going to get away safely with a damaged engine Just... no.

PS don't think I'm agreeing with any sort of sentiment that stickies are overpowered, but you're being ridiculous in your made-up situations about how bad stickies.

Ok maybe it was a bit of a stretch, but my point isn't that stickies are bad, there good i love them but they are hard to use without the axis player being an idiot.

Not really, the Stickies purpose is to prevent people charging into your lines and circling ATGs, which it does FAR better than any other handheld AT in the game.

Switch skins and find out.

That pretty much sums up the whole question of OP tbh.

Also need to put this in: You all Axis only players, hop into Allies too. Guarantee you will get games more often and enjoy EIR more.

Allies are very boring to play, I don't have half as much fun. Screw that. Might get games more but you sure as hell can't tell me what I might enjoy more.

They're not hard to use at all, you're using them without even buying a single one in your company. Most Axis players are dead afraid of going within 20m of any riflesquad because it's impossible to know if they have stickies or not until it's too late. Now some Axis players will take risks and might start getting more bold if you never sticky him when he makes risky moves in, which is why it's a good idea to still have some.
